Hmm, I can't remember where I heard this (Either X-Play or Reviews on the run possibly...) But I heard that the reason Nintendo may not want to focus on online is that it costs alot of money to support servers for people to play online. (In maintenance fees and bandwidth costs for the duration of the title's online life. Either when they decide to cut it due to dwindling interest or due to a new version being released.) Which brings me to Brawl... It was highly toted as being a key online game for the rev... therefore I find it highly unreasonable that they would not make sure they were prepared for it. (A reasonable expectation would be 80% of all copies of Brawl sold would be online by the end of the day. Thus they should have had their servers ready to go.) And just to clarify things, where did I get the figure 80% from? It is a reasonable estimate on how many people who own the rev would take it online by the end of the day. It is reasonable because Brawl was toted as being online and people have been raring to duke it out over the net since Melee was released. As far as PS2 compared to the rev's game library, we really can't compare them directly... but what we can do is: 1- look at the PS2 vs the Gamecube's library and use that as a base. OR (possibly better still) 2- Look at how many games there were in the first year of the PS2 and compare that to the Rev's first year. This section here screams hypocrite. You don't care about graphics... but the first thing you consider is what else? but the graphics. But I still feel that your missing the overall picture of just why Nintendo is in trouble... But because you touched on it, I may as well delve into it some as well. The PS3 does cost more, but it's cost has fallen in the last year, so for those still whining about it's cost: "SHUT THE F*** UP, You seem to be forgetting just what your buying. You not getting an nes or genesis for the cost... And if you don't want the console then don't buy it, plain and simple as that, but no bitching about it's price." I absolutely hate when people  about the cost of the system considering the relative power of it and what they're actually getting when they buy it. Oh and one thing I want to clarify, in a game controls are key. They have to be tight and responsive... Hence why many of the new sonic games fail. (Atleast in my opinion.) And Jovany... Can the fanboyism spam, it's stupidity like that that causes people to give ps3 fans/supporters bad names. If you want to say the ps3 is the best, great but you want to provide reasons for it as well. Simply saying because it is insufficient and basically says: "Nahhh, that's not a reason, so you lose, exit discussion please." |

Either way, the DS came out alot longer ago than the Wii and the internet service is still crap. The DS is a hand-held console, so you're forced to wireless internet (excuse me if I missed something. >>), and wired is better then wireless if there's no sever near. (actually, it always give me better internet connections, but yeah) And remember, sometimes the littlest obstacle causes a disconnect at wireless. |

okay fine,
i personally favor the ps3 because i loved the ps2 games, and all my favorite games' sequels are ps3 ecxlusive. x box 360 exclusives are sh*t, you got like 40 shooter exclusives, then theres the games that are eclusive for like 3 months. Then you have games like Viva Pinata, Blue Dragon, too human... which fail in comparisin to PS3 eclusives. And the wii..., what... it only has 4 games IN TOTAL that are good, and I would consider playing which are legend of zelda twilight princess, which isnt even exclusive,super mario galaxy,super smash bros brawl, and maybe that metroid game... other than that.... nuthing else... and then there are all those other Bull Nut accesories like Wii Fit, seriously...!?WTF?! Wii sports? I could go outside and play with REAL Human Beings a sport instead of sitting on a couch slightly tilting a controller... Really Now, From the games I actually Enjoyed... I had on the PS2, such as Jak and Daxter,Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear, God of War and all the other good stuff... Halo, Super Smash Bros Brawl Suck... wii, and 360 are not that fun... to me...

In my opinion Halo 3 owns all things like DMC, MG, and there's no God of War out of PS3. and the PS3 has suxxy games too Jovanny. Don't make me talk about Drake's Fortune, and a load others. Now now, don't get too excited.
The Wii's main flaws have been stated.
The PS3's main flaws are the price (Not only the console, but everything else as well, damn that DualShock 3 is REALLY expensive)
The lack of exclusives, and every exclusive it has so far is crap, lol Lair.
GTA4 and DMC4 were to be PS3 exclusives but they moved away (And GTA4 gets extra features in the 360 version now). FF13, MGS4, Disgaea 3 aren't out yet, can't judge them. Look at the Top Games of the 360 and the PS3 at Gamespot, and tell me which are the exclusives at the PS3's top list.
The best game on the console is a demo. (GT5)
360 has many good exclusives excluding shooters such as Eternal Sonata, Portal (It's on Windows as well but then again, they're both Microsoft), Mass Effect..etc (I should even count Assassin's Creed because the PS3 version is the most broken thing I've seen).
And no, I'm not buying a 360, a PS3 or a Wii. I bought a Dreamcast (For 30 euros, brings console, a controller and ChuChu Rocket). Isn't that the smartest thing ever? In my opinion, all 3 need a bit more good games, but again in my opinion, the 360 is the best of the 3 so far.

In sprite/comic/or other things it isn't bad. But I've seen THOUSANDS of What's the best console threads wich turned out in flamewars. And Jovanny is trying to make his post like that. |

Sony just got stabbed. Again. Final Fantasy XIII is no longer exclusive as it sweeps through to the 360
XIII Versus is still PS3 exclusive though. Then again, that looks like the worst of the three so I don't really care. I hate Nomura anyway.
EDIT: P.S. FFXIII is the first multi-platform FF game in the series. (Eh, FFXI doesn't really count.)

Hmm, well, I'm not a huge fan of the FF series so this doesn't affect me too much. (Considering how XII turned out, if they do it the same way then it's very unlikely I'll even buy it. As I've had XII since the christmas of the year it was released... and I've yet to even really start it.)
But I would like to see a few xbox360 games make the jump over to PS3... (No, not Halo or Halo wars) games like Too human and Star Ocean 4 (Both of those were 360 exclusives last I heard...)

But from viewing today's E3 showing... Nintendo's presentation was a bit lackluster and dull. (Hmm, the music game and another pokemon and another rev sports game that uses yet another nintendo brand perpherial... Hmm thrilling stuff, or maybe not.)
I never say Microsoft's E3 showing but from what I heard of it the big announcements were Gears of War 2 shown being played, and FF XIII being on the 360.
As for Sony's:
A load of stuff about the PSN (mostly new features and content and stuff that is coming... such as movies and whatnot.)
Major hype for Resistance 2 (as well as a resistance for the psp.)
A tiny bit showing killzone2
A new Ratchet game.
MAG (Massive Action Game or something of the sort) was shown, and it looked pretty cool. (I mean 256 players all in one map fighting things out... Talk about amazing.)
God of War 3 trailer was shown.
There was a demo of little big panet... but it doesn't seem too interesting to me.
