I don't even have to watch that to know it's a flaming of the VB. So it's both unheard of and unliked. Wow.

It's not unheard. It's extremely famous, everyone knows it. Just because you don't know it, it doesn't mean it's unheard.

I honestly don't see what you guys mean about the Wii dying. I've still not come across one in a store. Besides, (as someone else said) the system was meant to attract a broader audience. One of my best friend's dad plays it a lot. Also, it's becoming a very beneficial tool. For example, it is used for physical rehabilitation, something that the X box 360 (cough...cough...Halo Box 360...cough...cough) and the PS3 simply don't do. To go along with the graphic argument: GRAPHICS DO NOT MAKE A GOOD GAME!!! In my opinion, the best mario game ever made was SMB3. It's 8-bit glory has yet to be matched by any other mario game, regardless of how juiced up the graphics are. Also, the original SMB is considered by many people I know to be one of the best games of all time. Graphics have screwed with people's minds about the idea of a quality game. The Wii is far from dead.

... Graphics aren't the only thing, but the current DEVELOPEMENT shift is towards better graphics. Which the rev's hardware severely lacks the power necessary for such graphics. This means that fewer developers will be making games for the system... contributing to less games and therefore less reasons to buy the system as there are fewer games for it worth buying.

The way I see it, none of the consoles we're talking about have that many great games. In fact, I think someone was comparing the number of games they had for the Wii to the amount of PS2 games they had. PS2 has been around a lot longer and guess what, the thing won the last console war. As much as I dislike Sony I've got grudging respect for the PS2.
The PS3 in my opinion sucks. I said long ago that they'd come in last this time around and I still stand by it. Not enough good exclusives, just Metal Gear and Final Fantasy, and for awhile it sounded like Square was jumping ship. Microsoft had it right, they were bragging about how you could buy a 360 and a Wii for less than the PS3 and that combination sounds much better to me, you get your classic mindless Nintendo tride and true fun, and you've got your mature, graphic, violent shoot 'em ups on the 360, best of both worlds. That's what I wanted before the new systems came out, and that's what I still want, a Wii and a 360.
A dispute I've got to end; very very few people care about graphics, graphics are what Nintendo fans say the other console fans think is all important. Its not about the graphics, its about game variety and style. And I like the idea of virtual reality games but maybe the world isn't ready for them. Maybe Nintendo is ahead of its time. But I'll tell you this, unless the new Zelda looks like WW again, I'm buying it. And even if it does look like that I still might buy it. Nintendo isn't going to die, even if they don't change. Maybe they shouldn't change. People are always whining about how they miss 2D Sonic. Someone in this thread said they were excited Meteroid Prime was done and it was going back to 2D. And then after they say that they complain that nothing new ever comes out of Nintendo.
Nintendo's online service sucks. They were not prepared at all for all the Brawl players and even though they're free and you can't expect much... people expected better, me included. That being said, I'm expecting that they will get better, they just need some time.

When it goes worldwide, i'm sure they'll actually slow down the production of games for improving Online service, that means having to shut down the online service for maintenance and upgrades...
Well that's if they do care about it...

And we wonder why PS3 fans are depicted as idiots. That may as well be spam as far as I'm concerned.

Well that's if they do care about it... That never happened to the DS, it still has crappy online service. And the DS is outselling the Wii and all other next-gens by alot.

Well, they can also deliver more DSs to a location than they can Wiis because the DS is smaller.

Either way, the DS came out alot longer ago than the Wii and the internet service is still crap.
