To solve this why dont we just make a thread that says "any name changes report here" probably wont work but just the first thing that came to my head
NOTE: I'm keeping this Av and name cos its funny and i like it ;D

I already suggested that, but I was ignored. T_T
Anyways, I still believe in the superiority of my suggestion, make a rule about how often you can change your name and a thread where to post should you choose to change it. It's simple and requires little to no work from the mods. That is, as long as people actually bother posting in the name-change thread. But hey, that's what ban-sticks are for.

That may not work, as you have said. After all, look at the departures thread. From what I recall people are still making threads about leaving. If Netto could add things into the News Marquee on the first page then we'd be in business. All he would have to do is add something like,
"Netto sez: If your leaving FZ permanently or temporarily, please us the Departures thread in FZ General"

The departures thread is for letting people know you'll be gone temporarily. Jet himself said that if your leave is permanent, go on and make a new thread. Maybe Netto should add it to the rules that sticking with one name for as long as possible is encouraged, and that you have to post in a thread to let people know who you were and who you are when you do.

I had that idea in mind, unfortunately, it is still difficult for the mods and admins. Since we cannot put a restriction, then we have no choice, like i said, until soeone steps up with a better idea than storm's.
