since you have so many answers Theres a good reason he does have answers, he pays attention. Pretty usefull in this day and age.. And we know its Zero's heart and mind that matters but to Wily/Weil, the body and its powers were all that mattered. Reploids are tools remember, he could care less about Zero's mind, he only cared about the body he spent so much time on, his masterpiece. Well he programmed his mind for killing and conquering, and it reverted back to that programming in X5, so it could happen again. So why didn't Weil just find a way to get that programming back and use the original Zero instead of Omega? Wanna know? Simply put, Weil ISN'T Wily. Weil was just interested in the Dark elf and Omega, and Wily was concerned with Zero the masterpiece. I think if Weil was Wily, he'd try to go for Zero and not Omega. |

Well, Wind has a point...Even if Weil was Wily, I think he would partly forget about Zero when trapped in space, but Wily was dead at the start of the X series. His psyical body at least. He could have made an android body for himself, planning on living forever, but Zero could have destroyed it after waking up. So many plotholes, so much fan speculation....

Reploids/Advanced Robots can only be corrupted with viruses. Even though Zero can't be corrupted with the virus since the Sigma virus infects Reploids, not advanced robots Wily did :/ |

Well when talking about robots, thats the term that comes up. So I guess the proper term I'm looking for is... A mission, or an intention. Zero says in X5 he want's to kill X. That was his main intention along with killing+conquering, and somehow that "intention" got knocked back up his  and he became "maverick". It could have happened again. |

Well, Zero started out completely insane and psychotic, then got punched in the head, then was given a new "mind", so to speak. Also, all Reploids and Androids could be reporgrammed, it just wasn't as needed with the Sigma virus.

No, Wily DIDN'T program Zero. Wily tried to but it didn't work, which is why he infected Zero with the Zero Virus, thus making him a maverick.

Both Androids and Viruses can be programmed, and since both were made by Wily, he prgrammed them. Viruses are difficult or impossible to reprogram, unless you make a better version that also hunts down the original....

Do the words "Free will" ring any bells to any of you? ... what the hell? No Sh**, free will is "programmed" along with his intents and all that. No virus can give somebody a personallity. Stick to one thing next time. Edit: I know that Zero gained free will after getting bashed in the head by sigma, but free will is still prorgrammed. Not made by a virus. |

No, Wily DIDN'T program Zero. OK then, who did program Zero? Dr.Cossack? Zero was programmed to destroy X The Zero virus was created when the Colony Eurasia virus, and Sigma virus combined together. Wily didn't infect Zero with anything, Zero was just a walking virus spreader guy (HIV!) Zero only attains his free will once he gets knocked out by Sigma, he awakens, and mysteriously he seems normal, and doesn't go crazy after that |

Actually, the Zero Virus existed around the end of the Classic series, with the near completion of Zero.

Then what the hell makes Bass, X, and Zero advanced robots? Not a virus einstein. They had free will, which was programmed, NOT BY A VIRUS.. God are you blind? Like someguy said it was made by the eurassia incident. No virus existed during the classic series. Only when Sigma fought Zero was it made. |
