We shall see if this is any good. Hopefully, it will be worth while. As many people know, some fan stuff is good and some of it would have been better uncreated.

I've known about this a week ago, and I never seem to get around to making a thread about it ^^;. Well apparently the director (Eddie Lebron) of Megaman fan move, plans to make it stick to the original storyline as much as possible, which many Hollywood movies have failed to do with film adaptaions of video games, and other well liked media. They only just started calling for ACTORS on December 18th/ And they won't have a trailer up until a few months from now most likely.

Well for a fan made movie, this seems fairly well organized. And since he's a fan, not just some rich director who wants to take Megaman and adapt it for the sole purpose of making money, he's probably going to stay true to the story and the personalities of the characters. And in the interview, he confirmed that the costumes wouldn't be spandex, and that he'd have Wily's Castle theme from MM2! So I like this guy. In the interview he also said Protoman would have a part, and since he didn't really come in until MM3 I'm curious to see where he comes in.. I dunno, I'd like to think this'll be good. We'll have to see, Christmas '08. And he thinks he can do all the shooting in 15 days.
As for the people, they're looking for 18-24 for most of them, so we don't have to worry about Rock sounding like a 5 year old, thank goodness. I wonder if they already have the roles of Cut, Guts, Bomb, Proto, and Mega already filled, as their profiles weren't posted with the rest of the cast.

They weren't up because Guts, Cut, and Bomb will be fully CGI characters. That should be quite interesting to see in action!

This isn't the .exe series so if protoman did appear then he would likely have buster and shield, not sword like his exe counterpart.
I'd actually like to see how this turns out, and if it turns out well, I hope they make an X series movie next.

Its a movie about MM1 so Proto almost shouldn't be in it. Bass didn't appear until MM7 I think, and this guy said he isn't going to screw with the story. Bass isn't going to be in it unless they make a sequel.

Bass isn't gonna be in the movie unless bass isn't gonna be in the movie. And I'm pretty sure he isn't gonna be in the movie. lol
sequel? I doubt the guy's gonna make seven movies, unless,....did the guy ever happen to state any predicted run time of some sort?
and you said he won't mess with the story line....but then, what if he copies off the powerd up story line? they managed to fit proto in there without totally screwing the story.(In fact, it seemed better as a story than Rockman's...)
