megaman x series ended?

There allready is a new series for the X series. That would be the Zero series. And then there's the ZX series.

That isn't necessarily true because there are multiple endings of X6, and depending on the path you choose, you can get an ending that allows for the series to continue.

Also, the X series was supposed to end with X5, but obviously, that didn't happen.

umm...don't you mean X5 have multiple endings coz compared to X6 it has more, and was actually the last MMX game to be directed by Keiji Inafune, and declined to continue it, but we know what Capcom did .

No X5 was the last one or it was suppost to be because yes Im putting a spoilor because it so obveuse Zero dies and X make elemyse as we see in MML2 for the last area so X5 was the last one X6 was made why I don't no but X6 kind of contradics MMZ4 as for the crash site because tey said the area was abaoned but in X6 thats where Gates base is.

i figure that the megaman x games started getting a stupid ending after the 3rd one since in most they always have sigma behind the whole thing in the end and someone dies most of the time.. in the first one zero the 3rd i dont know in 4th the general and 5 x or zero. Sigma isnt a hard boss anyway, but i like the 8th one since lumine was an awesome boss, and the others were sweet but the one with the armor that you can knock off is easy if you use zero's upgraded sword. i havent gotten deep into the story of the 3rd or 6th but still, they should have had a new boss after the third one or 4th.

5 and 6 has a good story line you should pay attion to it sence they were suppost to be the last and CM had a good story line

CM? ive beaten x5 and it revolved around zero all the time. in my current game of x6 ive only beaten a few bosses, so i cant say anything about it. say, hasnt anyone noticed zero getting more and more important in the story then x? like starting with the fourth megaman x Zeros been the more important char of the two.

Because X needs to save someones butt in every game so they use Zero till they get Axl and MMCM is command mission an RPG for PS2 and GC
