Yeah, thats a very bad habit of Capcom. They never finish storylines. For example, they didn't even make a cataclysm between the last megaman and the first of the X series.

I doubt it... Why would MMZ have a flash of 300 years ago and MMX people think about Dr.Light and Megaman with the MWars?

Then they would be pretty late with finally telling about it! If they wanted to tell it, they would have done it in X4 or 5. Although there is a link between that arcade game called "megaman the power fighters" and the X series...

i played Power Fighters. The bass ending shows bass's origin and the introduction of Zero's construction.

Keiji Inafune has attempted to end the X series, but then Capcom went behind his back and made more sequels to it. Keiji has made another attempt, this time to end the Zero series. Hopefully this won't be another case of grave-robbing on "Crapcom's" part.
And I think the reason he didn't "end" the Megaman series officially is so that we, the fans, could ponder what happened between Megaman and X, and let us fill in the pieces. It's certainly a better method of dramatic storytelling than "To Be Continued..."

Hehe, yeah that's plausible yup. True, MMX should have ended time ago with Zero's 100 years sleep and instead...

Now that Axl apeeared they just won't let MMX die until Axl has a few more games (until MMX9 or more)
If "crapcom" makes a series named Megaman Axl at 23XX, im gonna kill someone
