Zero, the legendary killing machine of capcom...Was originally a girl?!
Apparently, he was supposed to be a girl, but capcom decided that a guy would be better at the lst minute, hence we have long hair and uhhhhh chest armor....
I've read this funny little story many a time, and wonder if its really true, does anyone know?

Omg...That can't be true , right ? XP Well It is funny , indeed...Reminded me a review I got one day ago :The user was saying "Zero is a lady you suckeer !! Your flash sux !! Damn you ! 0 !!! "  I was like "  ! " while reading XDDD And I dunno If capcom did that.Capcom's weird |

well yes they do make lot's of characters who are male look female (Kyubit Foxstar for example lol)
but i don't see how some people could think that zero looks like or is a girl lol

While there are rumours that Zero was originally meant to be a girl, I don't think there's anything officially stating it's truth. And besides, Capcom didn't make that comic, so it does not count as valid fact. Of course the comics aren't proof! It's jsut for a quick laugh! ;D |

Capcom did do that, the comic is just a joke, not proof...I have a friend who has connections who told me.

Zero was originally intended to be a girl, but capcom wasn't sure if that was the right move.(notice how when they mention zero in the original MMX they dont use he or she.)
By the time X2 rolled into town capcom felt zero would fit into the story as a man. Either that or its a bisexual women with a deep voice.(X4)

Zero was planned out to be a girl when Rockman and Forte ended. Even Wily thought of making a robot who had a girlish figure and with long blonde hair, the robot who would beat Rockman. (Zero was supposed to be a Roll replacement in the X series)  |
