Was it a fanart contest or was it TMMN's huge list of questions? (I only missed one of those questions, and I had it half right ><)

From what he told me three days ago the contest was held on another forum board he goes too and from what I? understood it wasn't the one run by TMMN or the fanart one either.

Bass is the third character and avaible april 5th. There are also 3 special stages, and through a ripping prossess is was shown that sprites for Enker, Punk, and Ballade are in the game. it is now rumered that they will be the special stage bosses. And becauce I love enker, I am psyched. In other news the game was noted on Myspace and lastly F*** YOU COMMANDO MAN! YOUR STAGE IS A ! I've clogged pumpman and shot down the commando. Solar Man is next on my list.

Sounds challenging can't wait to get me mits on MM10. So Bass is back in 8 bit glory. The Megaman Killers are here too talk about sweet eurphoria. Then again this will be my first encounter with them seeing as I never got my hands on the GB Megaman Games.

You'll have fun then. Punk and Enker are quite easy, more so Enker because for him to attack you have to hurt him. Ballade is kinda tough, but he was meant to be an amazing baddy.

So according TMNT Bass plays pretty much like he did in MM&Bass. The only thing thats removed though is his ability to Double Jump granted he was the agile of the two playable characters back then, but it seems his mode maybe easier for the dash, treble and the ability to shoot in all directions. So far there is no clue if he has a story purpose in MM10 yet. He just might be a character swap like Protoman was in MM9. Man I was hoping to see Duo again then again his sprite would litterally be chopped up in 8 bit. Bass is more manageable I guess to reproduce and 8 bit version of Duo not so much I guess. No fist of Justice for us.

I'm confused about what this "menace from outer space" is then, if Robotenzia isn't a new strain of evil energy, and it seems like its just a virus made up by Wily. Interesting that Wily seems to tinker with viruses before the Zero Virus, I suppose this is an early strain. Causes robots to go crazy, sounds about right.
But yeah, I want to know what the menace from outer space is and I would've prefered if Bass had a role. Guy was absent all of MM9 because he was being upgraded, and now he's playing a cameo role and fighting against Wily again? Why? He should be a boss.

Well, MM10 has come and gone. And man was it awesome. Commando Man's stage = Stupidest stage in history, both in difficulty, music, AND that hideous, HIDEOUS background! Also, Wily stage 1 = best MM stage ever./ Period. My face exploded. Oh, and the space thing is addressed. Trust me. (EDIT:) Oh, the contest I won was on th Ultimate Megaman Gamers Union on Gamespot.

This game actually pisses me off quite a bit. The two biggest problems I have are the stupid Robot Masters and Proto Man's inclusion.
There have been silly robot masters before, but even Top Man, Spring Man, and Dust Man had a bit of credibility. PUMPMAN!? SHEEPMAN!? These two alone take the cake for Stupidest Robot Masters Ever. Strike Man's NAME had some potential, but then they screw it up by making him a baseball robot. I also didn't think much of Nitro Man, but he's not too bad. Blade Man annoys me because if you replaced his head blade with a chef's hat you could call him Chef Man. Sheep Man really pisses me off because they could have just got rid of the horns and called him Nimbus Man and that would have been so much better. Pump Man is double screwed because his design is freaking ridiculous AND he gives you ANOTHER shield weapon (even if it is useful...).
My second point is Proto Man's appearence. First, I like Proto Man, and I like to play as him because he is awesome. But Capcom did a really bad job shoehorning him into this game. In MM9, he was an extra, so he had no story elements and that was fine. In this one, they introduce him as a story element, but when you play as him you get nothing. You know why? Because he is the smart one in the Mega Man universe. Having him join Mega Man in this game completely contradicts his character. I'll go ahead and allow for him to give up his loner attitude to help out Mega Man just this once, but there is so much more wrong with this picture.
First of all, what did Proto Man do in the last game? He warned Mega Man not to trust Wily and told him off when he walked right into Wily's trap. And what has Proto Man done IN EVERY GAME he's in? He is always the one to reveal Wily's plot. So what the hell is he doing in this game going along with the plan to help Wily create a cure? He should have been the one telling everybody how retarded they are for not suspecting Wily in the first place. It's always Wily, and Proto Man understands this. He would never help him, no matter what's going on.
Second, why would Proto Man doubt Mega Man's abilities all of a sudden? He flat out tells him "I don't think you can handle this alone". Yet, he's seen Mega take on far greater threats. Somehow, I think Mega Man can take Sheep Man on his own. Really, what makes this situation any more desperate than the one in MM8? It just seems weird that Proto Man would suddenly decide to go help Mega Man now when he's been just fine sitting on the sidelines for so long, not wanting to get involved unless absolutely needed.
Third, it seems kinda stupid to put Proto Man in and then do nothing with him. I haven't actually finished his game, but from the looks of it, he has no story bits. So in essence, the only differece for him since MM9 is that he can shop now. They didn't even really tailor much of the levels for him. Sliding bits are few and far between. It just seems like they were building him up to be on the same level as Mega Man, and then they made it so he wasn't.
Well, enough rambling for now. I will say that the Weapons Archive was probably one of the most awesome fortress bosses ever.

Track, I love you.
I agree though, I don't think that this game is super great. Heck I'm yet to beat it just because I don't much care for it.
Just to let you know though, Proto Man is still as good, if not better, and Rock. He can slide which is a major advantage for him, and he can block nearly everything with his shield. Fighting Strike Man, Blade Man, Commando Man, and Chill Man was a breeze with his shield and Charged Shot.
The only thing I'm hopping is that the three SP stages and Forte mode will save this game. The fact that the Rock Man Killers are back I find cool, as they seem kinda under-appreciated due to not being in game time games.

I just wanted to agree and disagree with you on Sheepman Track. I think its a horrible choice as well, and one of the stupidest robot masters ever, and an idea that came completely out of left field as well. And then I remembered Snakeman and Toadman. Granted, Snakeman was pretty cool, Toadman sucked really badly and is as stupid or more stupid than Sheepman.
I do like the Nimbusman name though, they could've easily called him that...
And I agree with everything you said about Protoman, except I'd like to clarify the "I don't think you can do this alone" part. I'm sure Protoman had every confidence that Mega could deal with the robot masters, I think that he just felt that time was of essense and if Mega didn't find the cure quickly there would be more trouble. I do agree that he should have had his own story elements if they're going to actually include him in the story, let some stuff get revealed for him that doesn't show up in Mega's. I was a little surprised toward the end after Mega got sick and Roll gave him her meds, I expected at that point you'd have to switch characters, maybe even fight the other one as the virus got worse.
Also, would someone tell me how the space thing is addressed? Aside from the final battle taking place in space I don't see how that affects the story at all. Shoot me a PM if its major spoilers.

Dr Wily was going to send the virus throughout the world using his space base. Thus, he's a foe from outerspace. It's much like the Eurasia incident in MMX5 where Sigma covered the world in his virus.
Also Track I remembered something that disproves your thoughts on Proto Man.
If you recall two games known as "The power battles" and 'The power fighters" each included Proto Man who had his story and he didn't stay in the shadows like he typically does. He also was the first to act in "Rockman & Forte" by being the first to challenge King. He might not be the main protagonist but he doesn't always stay away until absolutely necessary.
