Well as the title states chose your most remebered moments in any of the MMBN games. This thread is in honor of the remake. As far as I'm concerned the crossover is a remake of BN1 if it sales well we might see more remakes ,but that depends on how much cash capcom can milk from it... Well aside from that note post your best moments from BN1 to BN6 including transmission if you played that one too.

If all games are included, then my greatest memory is against Gregar. I use random chips, and the fight against him almost said, "That doesn't cut it." So I considered my chips andmy beast out mode VERY thoroughly, and pulled out all the stops to make sure he went down. I took undershrt(or somethin like that. THe customization thing) into consideration and as planned, I finished that fight with 1 HP left. Of course, I don't remember all the chips I used, but I know that my survival was assured by the Lifesword, Beast out, and the Boomerang 3 chip.
But if you mean strictly for the first game, then it's the first time I fought Fireman. I wasn't used to how to play the game at all and I didn't know how to chamnge my folder--something I didn't figure out 'till Stone Man--so he was a real challenge to me.(I didn't lose tho, mind you. lol)

Actually I basically meant through the game series, but pick a few or just one of your best memories...
I guess my best memory is when I finally figured out flow was the best thing ever... Seriously I used to have folders were my combos would be limited to like one chip or two per turn... I guess the one thing I enjoyed that they removd in the last 3 games was the ADD Feature. I thought it was awesome that you could sacrifice chips to set up other combos and when I figured out chip folder flow you could guess what my favorite style I was the whole time. And then came BN4...
Though I guess a emotional system seemed so good that the ADD feature was too obsolete... (Sarcasm )Yes I hated that Emotional system intill I figured out the timings to counter ,but generally I found that very annoying... As the battle chip system just got seriouly downgraded from convience to rellying on luck rather then skill. Well of course you needed some skill ,but luck has never been helpful for me in those games and that is why I will never beat the dreaded Bass BX.
Other than that I enjoyed the games though my favorites were BN2, BN3 and BN6.

Though I guess a emotional system seemed so good that the ADD feature was too obsolete... (Sarcasm ) They did that because there was a navicust to add chips to your hand. I think my best moment in all of MMBN history was my first battle with Fefnir in Team Colonel (he had proto) It was great. That entire night we were at a fair just being idiots and he was bragging on how he was going to destroy me when we battled the whole night. Well, we finally did battle and I don't think either of us could have seen this coming. My had consisted of all three wide waves to make a PA, along with the typhoon chip and a recovery. I went into toad soul, made the PA and clicked OK!. Fefnir went straight into NapalmSoul and was immediately splashed away from my undodgeable water PA. Instant death.

Yeah that was quite true I just felt some what lagged when BN4 came without the add feature because that messed with my natural strategy. Did you notice the response time with the chips was also slowed down? I remember how fast paced the chips where in 1-3. Really that is impressive. I was never all good with BN5 because I sucked at BN4 terribly. I Probably wasn't used to the idea of folders geared towards souls. The Crosses were defently an improvement not saying the souls were terrible just hard to come up with the right decks for them is all. So often I played and relied on megaman exe.

I liked the souls for the simple reason that they gave upgrades to chips, unlike styles which only allowed you to use one chip. (fountain, Bolt, Giga Blade, salamander) The only issue I had with the souls with that you had to sacrifice a chip, that typically caused a kink in my folders but it still came out okay. I honestly think the best thing to do when using souls and crosses is to build a folder around that element.

The souls were fun just they were tough to center a good deck for them. I was however good with Thunder Soul, Gyro Soul, Junk Soul and I believe Shadow Soul. Then the crosses I seemed better with becuase I could center some good decks for them and you didn't have to sacrifice a chip of a type which made things a bit easier. Styles yeah they could of done better with them through that department, but I think the styles were specail in their own way and I loved the idea of how you play determined the styles and adjusting to the element wasn't too much of a problem either. Of course my elements were Elec and Wood all the time in combination with Cust and Sheild style.

lol you guys make me feel dull. Just about all of the souls were upgrades IMO, I never strategized with them. I took what they gave me and worked with it. I do believe I've suffered from weakness attacks but nothing was ever serious.
This means that fighting you guys in anything BN-related is out of the question. lol

Naaa Silver, haveing a folder that can utilize anything is good, it brings out variety. Like me using an all water folder, your going to have more of a notion to use Thunder/magnet soul. Its just knowing how to use your hand.
However, Im much more feared in SF than BN, because there I can think of alot more crazy things to do.

Well Silver don't worry too much becuase that is how I basically played too and I have never had a real opponent so I can't say my folders are all the effective against human players. My folders were only good against enemies and bosses. So chances are you both are in a higher league then I. Then we have Dei Dei who could probably smack the crap out of me if I ever do decide to play or even get a starforce game. Personally BN is where I stay ,but I have yet to verse an opponent that isn't a CPU.

Then we have Dei Dei who could probably smack the crap out of me if I ever do decide to play or even get a starforce game. . lol I feel honored. I think Fefnir can vouge for how deadly I can be in the games. Its rather shocking how much I can deal in the first turn. I think my record last was 1050, no wait, 1750. If they make a second MMBN OSS then Im sure we'll battle, and odds are if its the same chips as 2 then I'll be at a disadvantage. I didn't like the elemental chips, or most of the navi chips. Plus there was only one water navi which bugs me, it makes a water folder hard to utilize.

That is where the styles came in to fix the lack of certain element chips. Then again the chips I had were Null, Elec and Wood types. I can tell you love water a lot. Well then again the most elemental navis in that game were the elec types which were Toadman even though he is a Water Type witha elec based attack, Thunderman and Magnetman. Also that game had a lot of null type navis as well. Airman, Quickman, Gutsman, Cutman, Shadowman, Bass, Pharohman, Gateman, Protoman, Knightman and I think thats it.
As a guess on what kind of water folder I'll assume the ice stage or line. That Bubble barriar chip. A few guyser chips which require some set up via holes. Some Aqua Swords, Some types of bubbler based chips and that water ballon chip if you had it. It's just a guess. I could center a folder for this ,but it would require some strategy and practice as I am very offensive and I like to set up my opponents for damage as well.

RainCloud3 was amazing and FreezeBomb I loved to death. Its just like, all the aqua spreader chips sucked and the geysers just don't seem to do much justice.
personaly I love wood the most, but in 2 it just required alot of holes, which I hate to have. BN3 I think had the best selection of anything. All of the elemental chips were good (salamander, Fountain, Bolt, Giga blade) and the two wood elemental chips could rape anyone at any time. (Giga blade and Giga sword) Not to mention that the elec chips in that game had much more use then they did in any other game. (5 is a close tie)
But no, water is my fav in most just because its fast and really easy to combo up. (bubbleman/Freezeman with a water +40) But wood I also love because its a great defensive style and has the ability to use its chips back to back without a fear of causing flash on the opponent.

Wood was real great up intill fire burned through all my defenses... My favorite set up was the grass stage spice combo what also made the folder great was the addition of some fire chips to add some fun. Or in 3 Black Bomb Grass stage charged fire shot which raped hard core! Then came the seeds which I thought was kind of iffy at times... 3 had an awesome selection which I have to agree with. In 3 I did have an elemental folder ,but I used a more null based folder with basic chips which worked fine for me. Quick on the draw and balanced enough to get me throught almost the whole game intill I hit deeper parts of the undernet and the secret net. Come to think of iti have never gotten to Serenade.

...Beating MMBN1. A shoe can play that game better than me, but somehow, probably mostly through spamming the buster like crazy, and by getting killed a whole lot, I eventually managed to overcome it. I didn't realize how to change the chip folder until like fighting Iceman.
Didn't find Bass, but I did run around the undernet a whole lot looking for the guy. Got pissed off getting killed by the enemies there (those face-thingys with some glowy auras around em!) and gave up on it. Not that I actually knew where he was, since googling the matter was too much work. Doubt I coulda beaten him anyway. ><
I'll try to pick up MMBN2 / 3 someday.
Maybe.
