Well the thread is unfindable and I assume it's dead by now, but do you all remember that guy who was making the live action megaman movie? He's still doing it and quite well. In his latest trailer you can see all teh Robotmasters, as well as Rock. Enjoy |

This trailer won me over the moment I saw Rock teleporting in.

Yup, the movie is lookin good, though it makes me wonder how the variable weapon system will work. Will Rock only get the power after he wrecks the enemy? or will he do like the cartoon and just have to touch their weapon to copy it.
And seeing this also reminds me of another of the projects... I'm also hoping that Ghostbusters: Generation will come out soon as well. It looks pretty cool too. (And it's been a while since an update on what, if any, progress has been made on it.)

Looks alright. Although, I must say that the scene with elec-man shocking megaman reminds me of The Emporer shocking Luke Skywalker.

I was sorta hoping they'd be done by now... I mean original thoughts were to have been done by July, then August. Now it's looking to be December or January.
I recognize that things might take time, but maybe a few more updates of the going-ons couldn't hurt... Like how far along is the movie anyway? Has the CGI been done? Is the music in place? What's left to do? Basically stuff like that to let fans know how long before the movie is ready. I mean that is really the big question on people's minds... "When is it really going to be out?"

I dunno when it's coming out but I am really hyped for it. I like their new design for most of the bosses, and hopfully Fireman's CGI flame-hair is going to look great. Plus their using some music from The Megas so that's another bonus.
So what do you guys think of the movie posters they made? I kinda want them.

I'm really looking forward to this movie. I'm super-stoked that the Megas are doing some of the songs for it (I was able to pick up one of their CDs at ComicCon this year). But I hate it when film/video game makers do this. When they announce a movie to come out then take forever to finish it. It just leaves everybody frustrated wondering when the heck it'll be done. Just wait to announce it when you'are nearly done. Oh well, at least it's not as bad as Smash Bros Brawl where it took 2 years and 3 release delays to finally get it out. I was SOOOOOO upset w/ Sakurai when he delayed it for the third time!.

Well to be honest I'm surprised they were still working on this movie. I remember this being annonced like forever ago. I'm glad they are improving this with each update and such.

It was announced December of 2008... And it's being released possibly as soon as January. (There is apparently a test screening of it at MAGfest. So if anyone's going to that, be sure to check out the movie and let us know how it is.)
Though it sounds like at this point the film is done/nearly done and almost ready to distribute.
