Greetz peepz, a man from the past arrives to bring dire news! °o° So yeah, I was like, nostalgic n stuff and decided to check the ol' cataclysm movies on NG. And when I was about to Play the movie, I noticed the Author name, LordZeebmork. So naturally, I was like WTF? and checked the profile, seems he has been hacked or something for a long time already and thought I should share this unfortunate event with the peepz 'round here. =( LINKY: lordzeebmork.newgrounds.com/ |

Actually, I've known about this for some time now... And the NG admins have already been contacted on the issue. But to my knowledge there has been no reply as of yet.
But whats really odd, is that if you do a search for FlameZero, it shows all his movies... but when you click the link then it says that that zeebmork guy made them...

The dude has stolen more than just FZ's flashes. Take a look at the other ones he supposedly made.

I have noticed this as well when I wanted to see the flashes a few weeks ago. I actually PM'd a few of the mods here, but it seems to be more rational to tell the mods/admins at NG (Which I see viruszero has most likely done) All we can do is wait on the NG guys. ManiacalReploid: Yeah, it seems that at least 5 accounts are victims to this guy. |

Yep, here's proof. ClickAs you can see, the author comments gives the credit to Flamezero, yet he doesn't appear on the list. The other thing is that LordZeebmork doesn't appear in the author comments. This must be why the 3rd one hasn't come yet. |

It's a possibility FlameZero's computer is completely hacked and he can't do a single thing about it. This is just fan-f___in-tastic. But I'll have to rephrase what I replied to ManiacalReploid. It's more like 20 accounts have fallen to him. He "has submitted" 331 flashes. All from the awesome to the sucky. |

Hmmmm.... Strange indeed.. So whoever this Lord Z whatever guy is. We will have to wait and see I guess because if this a situation neither Flamezero nor Newgrounds can do I assume.

My theory is that he hacked FZ's account and make his own account the author, then removed it from FZ's account. Because I'm certain that FZ wrote the comment.
But it could also be that he has alot of collab efforts... Like the "Star syndicate" they had a few accounts that all members added when they submitted something.

Right people, I checked and he didn't hack Zero's or the other guy's comps. Its a hack in NG from what I can tell. If you do a search on FlameZero, you'll see he is still the author of the flash. And if you see the comments, you'll see they are exactly the same on the hacker's "flash" too.
In addition: if you click on the other flashes he made/stole, you'll see that Zero's other flashes are not listed. Proving that it is just an NG hack. You can calm down since he didn't hack any comps, just NG.
However, I think actions needs to be made.

This is one of the reasons why I despise stealing compared to any other crime in the world (second to murder of course). I hate how they take all the credit from people who has worked so hard on a project and suddenly they get all the glory.
It ticks me off as an artist who understands it's not easy making something out of nothing and if these people wanna make something for themselves they should work for it no matter how long it takes, because we humans are a genius when it comes to hard work.
What a rant....anyways I don't get why hackers would wanna ruin everyone's day by doing something so low.

The others weren't stolen? Uh, maybe you wanna check that again... (Scroll down to 2006 and below... and see that they are indeed there.) lordzeebmork.newgrounds.com/flash/And as for it being a NG hack... then he'd likely have to have at the database to do that. And that would be far worse than merely one account. (And if he could take from any works he wanted, why would he take all those horrible other works as well?) So what I think happened is that you can transfer the ownership from one account to another, but it still recognises in the database that the flash was made by original submitter, so even if the flash gets transferred the original submitter still shows up. But this again is just a theory, as I've no idea how the NG database works. |

Theives deserved to get their fingers cut. They exist mainly for the purpose of self and self only. Cut their source and dismantle something as a prevention ,but even then there is always another longing to go the bounds... Or they seem to never give up. Even if this is some weird sharing thing I find that hard to believe....
