Last I checked, Super Mario Bros. had 8-bits.
I'm looking forward to it. It has been a while since I played any 8-bit games. And like the said graphics ain't everything.
Plus, you don't even know what the music is going to be, so don't judge the sound, until you hear it.

Eh, if it's coming out in Japan in September, then it'll be a good while before it comes out in North America. It shouldn't be too long, unless they get text happy in this game. Although, since this isn't coming with a manual, it very well might be a text happy game, so that the plot can be followed, if anyone cares to know what the plot is. For those who don't care what the plot is, MM9 is going to be another great time blowing up things.

I've hated all the old NES Megaman games. 16-bit all the way for me! And i heard better music than that. super maio bros ftw! ... I hope you don't mind my asking, but, do you have a PS3? And Shen, I don't know about WiiWare, but all the Virtual Console games have operations manueals included in the files. And also, I heard that Roll's going to be playable through a costume item.

Lol flash i've been here since april, i don't make too many posts b/c i got work to do, i got to make remixes and songs, and also i have to work with my uncle. IT'S FREAKING HARD MAN. Try working after school for at least 4hours for part time work, and lifting shiznit over 100 pounds with only two ppl, and plus, it's metal most of it. I have to lift flat screens sometimes, i have to lift big huge polls, and sometimes i have to fix cable boxes, on the antenna. Thne after that, i got to do homework and study for tests, just so i can get into NJIT for Stockbrokers, or maybe work as a purchasing Agent for my friend who is older than me. So take it easy Flash! try working consruction most of your summer waking at 5 in the morning comming home at 8 in the afternoon, everyday for weeks on end, comming home for 30 minutes only to have to go to bed and then back to work again a few hours after, i've done what you have and more, but i'm not trying to be rude or cocky, nor do i need to calm down. all i said was don't make cracks about my mother, is that too much to ask?

Wow, Flash. I never realize you had such an overworked schedule. I'm regretting when that at some point I'll probably have one, too

No one said you needed to spam.
Flash, it was meant as a harmless mom joke, you took it farther than you needed to.
Everyone else, try to aim your jokes at people who can see them for what they are. I know we're all guys and we like the 'your mom' stuff and other methods of teasing one another but it clearly bothers Flash so try to leave him out of it.
That said, the next post will be on topic.

I must say I'm not very excited about this one.
I expected something new, revolutionary for the classic Mega Man, and now they are returning it to it's old age, I know the good old fans will love this, but wouldn't it be better if it get some...better graphic for example? New functions? To be honest, I expected some 3Dness like they did with MMX7 and beyond, I just hope this won't be the ending game of the classic aswell..

Well in a way it's good for those who enjoy it's roots... I generally don't care about graphics but, I enjoy the work put into it honestly.

You mentioned something very critical...work. No matter what the graphics are, it takes work to make a great game.

And that is the truth my friend. Sure anybody could probably make a game like that anytime with the computers they have now a days but, this game brings back something that was porbably the hardest thing you could ever make back in the time of Apples and such but, even then these games were works of art. Sure we may have all this modern nice stuff but the roots and foundation that started it all is something that should be revisited, Do you think anybody else will have the guts to do what Capcom just did? Making Megaman 9 with the glory of the NES is the best thing that could ever happen. Who needs flashy intros and graphics? When you got something that hasn't been seen in quite a long time...

That, I am aware of. However, they could still make it good with newer graphics, while I never hated the NES graphics, I would be happy to see the classic Mega Man in better graphics, and still maintaining its hardness that the NES games had, those were good time, but I would still expect something new, yet maintain the hardness.
