Charging, of course, is great. Yea, I prefer it over rapid too. Much more. But I'm saying that if this game does indeed take the charge capability out, then my skill won't be hindered in the least bit. With so much practicing to be able to take Wolf out in one fell swoop in star fox among other challenges, I'm pretty much trained to handle tapping the A button rapidly.

Yeah that is awesome. But, here is something I found out quite recently. Protoman will play similar to Megaman with sliding and charging his buster and his sheild can deflect weak shots which is a bonus.... He even has adaptors of his own and no dog required. Check out unless you already know about it then don't bother with what I said....

There more to it Drifter, he has the shield, which I assume plays like it did in MM7, he gets knocked back twice as far, he can charge and slide. Whats the catch? He's 2 dollers as DLC avabile on OCT 6

All that for 2 bucks you say? Hmmm... I still get him because to me its rare to get the oppurtunity that lets you play as DLN 000 that is his ID if anyone remembers. But, iI think its worth it after playing as the blue bomber why not play as his older brother? I always wanted to play as him in a regular game other than all the side stuuf he was in.

I'm close and I can't get past the first wily fortress stage.... My fav is the black hole bomb. Useful against sheilded enemies.

I love the Laser tridanet as it goes through thing but the Jewel shield is the best ever. I'm stuck on the third wily stage with the goo wanna be rainbow devil form the MMZ games.

How did you get past the stupid laser hall because that is where I am stuck at all the time?

If the lasers are one-shot kill, then I recommend memorizing the stage so that you get by as quickly as possible. I never did it on the old games but I remember doing it without the time stop on X5, it was a b*tch to get through.
Or try and see if any of the weapons do anything to the lasers.
I'm not sure wether to be happy or neutral or whatever about how redundent the game seems to sound. But then like most Nintendo games, I guess redundency is a key ingredient to the mm games. lol

Oh the memories of the time stop.... Anyways yeah there is no weapon to stop time so yeah your skill is eveything unless there is a certain way I am not getting it.... Oh well but, that is what makes Megaman great is the formula but, yeah new things would have been nice too but, hay that is a ll I could ever ask for. Other than a ZX 3 or MML3 which would be nice but, MML3 is like a dream you will never have and ZX 3 is something that could happen depending if they want to focus on that....

Okay drifter heres what I do.
The first one is just a plain one. Use teh Ruch coil right under teh ladder. Hold up as you jump and you should grab it.
Room two must be done wthout a moment of hesitation. First jump on teh first lasor shooter. then use rush jet and hold up while flying. this should dodge the second. then jump righ tas the third one fires and you should be able to get ahold of the latter. Then from tehn on it's easy.

I knew. Sorta. I knew ONE of the powers did something vital. Or good, whatever you'd consider it. I'm glad I was right all along. Makes me interested in the game even more.
