Nintendo is really pulling out all the stops. It's also extremely affordable compared to the other next generation systems. It will be nice being able to play the NES games without them acting up or freezing on me. By the way, has anyone seen the list of the games that are going to be available free of charge besides me? There's at least 200 games.

No I haven't. I wouldn't mind a link to this list though if you have it.

Here's a link to the list. The person who wrote this says it is going to cost money, but from what I've understood for the longest time is that the games are free. It's the Retro games that I heard will actually cost money. Some of this list may be Retro games. I've not been able to find information on Nintendo.com refuting that the games are free. If I find info saying differently, I will post what is actually the case. forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/board/message?board.id=revolution&message.id=737293

I've officially heard from Nintendo. Here's the section of the e-mail that answers whether the games will cost something or not.
"Actually, the answer to your question is, we don't know. In fact, the Virtual Console has been one of Wii's most discussed and eagerly anticipated functions. Here at Nintendo we have been getting many requests for available games, costs, and interface, among others. While I have no answers to your questions now, in the coming weeks and months Nintendo will provide more concrete details to everyone. When that happens, you'll see it first at Nintendo's website (www.nintendo.com)."

You can get Twilite Princess on Gamecube too. It won't be as good as the Wii version but its an option.

Twilight Princess is not the only thing that is going to be awesome. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is going to rock as well.

From what i heard, the Wii's Virtual Console will have NES, SNES, 64, and some Sega consoles too. There will be a different controller for the Vitual Console and Gamecube games. And I think I heard that it CAN play DVDs, but im not sure. There has obvious talk about the Wi-Fi connnectivity with the DS, but i havnt heard any confirmations about it. As for Brawl, Sonic is the favorite charecter for the votes, but it hasnt been confirmed that he will be in there. Back to the Wii, it is said that it will be released in the last quarter of the 06 year, along with Twilight Princess, but as before, its not guarenteed. Fun Fact: on GameFaqs, there is a poll to what console people want of the three new ones, and the Wii was winning by a landslide, but the PS3 nearly caught up with it. ok im done.
