You can get Twilite Princess on Gamecube too. It won't be as good as the Wii version but its an option. Nintendo said that TP version for the Wii will have extra quests and stuff, but that was already expected to make people buy the Wii

Nintendo asked the fans. If enough japanese fans demand Megaman, Nintendo will ask Capcom.

Too bad the english speaking fans weren't directly asked as well. that would greatly increase support for those characters. Plus the USA alone has double plus a few hundred thousand what Japan has, so to me it'd make sense to ask them and see what they wanted as well. Thats also not including the other english speaking countries. We should get our say as well.
as for what we can do... not much, if you found a way (and done it) to vote for megaman/x/zero in the japanese poll you've done the best you can.

They should have a few later generation Final Fantasy charecters in there. Cloud, Vincent, Sephiroth, Squall, Seifer, Zell, Zidane, that red dreadlocks guy, Tidus, Auron would be some good ideas. but im tired right now, so ill just stop there....

Information as of last week on Wii:
Release date: Nov: 19
Are the games free?: Kind of, you have to earn Wii points by using the Wii. Read the article at nintendo.com and see for yourself. I'm going to e-mail nintendo again soon, just to double-check that I interpreted the article right.
Will this system rock?: All other next gen. systems will be obsolete.

One thing about Smash Bros Brawl, is that Nintendo wouldn't ask Capcom. The only reason Snake is in it is because Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear's creator, specificly asked Nintendo to put him in. So unless Capcom decides to jump in the boat, Nintendo's not going to offer.

So unless Capcom decides to jump in the boat, Nintendo's not going to offer. Then why is Nintendo asking the fans about Third Party Characters? Are the fans restricted to ask Konami characters?

Okay, I interpreted the article wrong. Here's how you get wii points.
Quoted from wii.nintendo.com/channel.html referring to the Wii Shop "This is where users go to download video game content, including classic video games originally played on the NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis and NEC TurboGrafx platforms. Here the users may buy Wii Points with a credit card or redeem a Wii Points Card purchased at retail to add points to their account, then redeem points to download these Virtual Console games. Users also can use points to download the Opera browser used in the Internet Channel."
So the games aren't free, but at least they won't cost a fortune.
You know what also, there's bound to be things that will give you free wii points with certain products.

You can pass them to your Wiimote and go to your friend's house with your wiimote and you can use your own avatars there
