THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! I've seen the whole series. (I finished watching it pretty much time ago :/) .. It was one of the best animes and was exciting and bleh.. My favourite characters are L Lawliet, Light Yagami, Misa Amane and Ryuk. And L is so cute! I'm not gay or bi and he's not cute in the "sexy way" but well...in the same way kittens and babies are cute.. And I cried when L died and when Light died.. Anyways, I hate Near. He's a damn copy of L and he sucks.. PS. I used youtube for the first 12 episodes, as I had a crappy computer back then, but I watched the other episodes in my current computer. EDIT: I have a friend who likes DN and she cosplayed as Misa (Well not exactly, but I made her a costume out of the clothes she had over msn  ) |

Huh. Glad I didn't care to watch the entire series just to find out that fifth thing you mentioned.
And anyway, the only reason I stopped pursuing episodes after 30 or so is because I couldn't watch more than 4 at a time, since so much stuff happened in every episode. Too much detective-level thinking for my lazy mind.

I tried it. it comes on at adult swim. Light seems like a pompous child who gets beaten up in school everyday....I'll continue to watch to see if something will cause me to like it, but so far its sucking for me.

Heh, now that I look back into DN it's mostly about consequences of Light's actions, so the series is a big story about what goes around comes around.

It is, and I like how they cjange the color of everything when they go into peoples thoughts, So this way we actually know if they're speaking or not

Yeah, and it's pretty cool how Light and L could pretty much see each other in their minds, even though niether could do anything about the other. Makes for an interesting storyline, to say the least.
