I thought Weil was aboard the forbidden ark until it landed in Z3 so I don't know why he'd be in Z1.5 unless he was watching Zero by computers, maybe even sending robotic probes after him. But yeah, I don't think he came back to Earth until Z3.

I've decided on what I'll be using for the game... And it'll be just a single file with a couple .dlls to speed up the game. The only problem would be that you would need windows to run it. I'll be using rmxp, but replace all of the built in scripts(all of the programming) to support side scrolling. I'm just working on the gameplay, you guys are the main source of all the story. I like what you've come up with and I'll include the empty resistance base and also the broken trans-server at the beggining. Weil doesn't sound too good, I personally think he's been used too much in Z3 and Z4. Harpuia, maybe, but If anyone wants to make some character up, be my guest. Just describe him, and I'll sprite him. VBA is actaully pretty fast on a 32-bit machine, but for some reason, when I try to do anything on a 64-bit system, it runs at around 50-70 percent. Also I'm baffled by the coding, too much to do. GM will go untouched, never really liked it much, and find it crashes computers way too much. Keep up the input!

I don't remember anything that actually says that the space ship crash landed right then in Zero 3, just that they detected a signature similar to the Dark Elf in that area. It could have been there for quite some time prior to it's detection by the Resistance, who wouldn't of had a global scanning system 100% operational until after their new base was completed (which if memory serves, in Zero two they were almost done, but not quite)

Yeah but you can tell the ship landed right before Z3 began just by the simple fact that both the resistance and Neo Arcadia are racing to get there first. Remember that Neo Arcadia has better technology, they'd have picked it up as soon as it happened.

And your point is? They might have detected the signature a hundred times but it could hold no more significance than an unknown power source. It's not until the Dark Elf show up did they say "hey theres two of these things... one is the Dark Elf... what the hell is the other?" Most the records of the Elf Wars are either lost or buried at that point, don't forget. So Neo Arcadia may have detected it along time ago, but detecting something and knowing what significance of what you've got two different things.

Secondly don't you find it odd that Wiel would have Copy X Mk. II ready to go with all the memories of the original copy if they had JUST LANDED?!

Furthermore Wiel Numbers in that game are originally from Neo Arcadia and referenced as the 8 Gentle Judges, (As sourced in the Remastered Soundtrack Booklets) whose function was to hold trials with X to determine whether or not a Repliod was in fact Maverick.

Thus it is my belief that Wiel has been on the ground alot longer than advertisted.

Weil has never been aboard the forbidden ark, if anyone remembers he was exiled from Neo Arcadia and lived in solitude all his life plotting. As for making your own I think they should be just killed off as if they were to live where would they fit in the Zero series, unless it's a boss character, or probably just make them leave never to return.

Anyone here forgotten about the sentencing of Weil? The judges sentenced him to be exiled from Neo Arcadia and Omega is to be sealed in the forbidden ark.

I thought they sealed both Weil and Omega. And you do make a good point Pariah, I never thought of that bit before.

Of course it's... and I have an theories about the entire series and what happened inbetween and behind the scenes, and like how Wiel was just setting up his entire return... but hey... I'm saving them for a script I'm working on.

maybe as more of a story to the game:

with the fall of neo arcadia's leader X, the city began to crumble as the harpuia and the heads rushed in to try and sort things out.
Zero having killed copy X and being blasted out of the neo arcadia tower as it exploded and brought the neo arcadian life to a stand still, crash landed in the desert, his body and mind reeling from what had happened, as he came to he saw X, the real X, as he explained what was going on, zero passed out, when he woke up X was there, flickering in and out,
"Zero, I've done my best to fix you, you took some serious damage from your last fight, be careful, the repairs i made aren't the best, you should seek help from the resistance team. don't worry about me, i'll be fine after i rest, please continue my fight for everlasting peace"
with this X disappeared. and zero stood up and made his way further into the desert.

(then comes the part i already wrote about zero finding the damaged transerver)

Actually I don't think he should have a base... it doesn't make much sense in my opinion, but if your going to do anything like that at all... have him run into a bomb shelter here and there...

By Zero 2 he loses all his cyber elves anyways so why not... have a selection at the beginning... choose any three elves and thats all you get. Well that's how I would do it anyways...

I have an idea:in the stages,there should be hidden caves that go under the enemy infested areas,meet up with either Fefnir or Leviathan(depending on the bosse's weakness),and they do small little favors for him like provide back up or make slight repairs because they don't want Zero to "retire" unless it's at their hands.And maybe you could come up with explinations for the plot holes that make the original series,X series,and Zero series like they didn't happen in the same timeline.And as for the guy that keeps popping in to challenge Zero,why not use the king pantheon as the sub boss for each stage.

one idea iv had for a reocuring boss and a way that zero forgets abilitys and weapon destruction, is to have him fight himself.

perhaps a dark zero, possibly only available to fight within cyber space.

How dark zero has been created could also lead to the broken trans server. Have zero about to use the transerver back to the base when an atack hits him thus sending him, but not sending him(if that makes sence).
leaving a form of him in cyberspace and him in the real world(if thats what you would call it). perhaps the cyber version is infected by an evil elf, not dark elf because she is yet to be released, perhaps a sigma elf.
