Alright. For those who played Mega Man Zero 1, I'm sure you remember the boss battle with Copy X. Well, after Zero beats Copy X, he tells Copy X that "I don't know, but my body seems to remember... that the real X was mightier than You." before Copy X switches to Angel Form.
So... wait. If Zero's current body is a copy (as told in MMZ3) of his original body, does that mean his Copy Body has fought X sometime in the past? And, if so, when?
Capcom made a major mistake with that one statement.

It doesn't make MMZ1 wrong (if what your saying is true) it makes MMZ3 wrong. Since it came out before MMZ3 how does it make it wrong?
Anyway every story, no matter what it is, has to have SOME kind of a plot hole.
Also (to answer your actual question) maybe this doesn't happen to Zero because, even though hes in a copy body, has the same heart.

yep..Thats right as the real X clearly explains that in MMZ3 too ^^
He has the real soul/heart but not the real body.So Its not the biggest story hole ever or sumthing

Yes, that part of Zero's statement. He said his body had seemed to remember him. It could have been implented into Zero's new body before the transfer.

I've never really thought about that, I just looked at it as Zero's way of telling Copy X he's weak.

the heart is part of the body and so is zero's memory banks, so zero may have unknowingly remembered some of his past, it's like how people remember things, certain events trigger memories.

Maybe thats from Zero's heart, but he thinks it is from the body. Well he can't be sure of everything.
Capcom must have thought of the copy body thing before MMZ3

I do believe the "heart" thing is just a metaphor. It's more like his chip remembers him stronger. -_-

Uh....he...has a heart...uh..chip...yea.. a heart chip, it must be defective over the years of resting for the virus to go poof. So he thinks the feeling comes from heart

zero fought side by side with X for a so long time at least his fake body with a real heart/heart chip can remember how X was fighting in the past
