You know what the problem is? Everything has been done before whan it comes to 2-D platformers. What we need is something completely revolutionary. What I think would be cool is if they let you play like an enemy. You notice that in most games bosses can do things your character could only dream of? I'd like to be able to do those kinds of things. That's why Guardians would be great. The only problem is that their attacks are so diverse that setting up a control scheme for them while still making it feel like you're playing the boss is hard. I mean yeah, you could set up Fefnir with a control scheme, but would you be able to do EVERYTHING that he can, as fast as he can while you're fighting him with Zero?

Probably not, if you wanted to get all there attacks in, you would prolly have to make like Smash Bros. controls (Up +A or Left +B and such)

Probably not, if you wanted to get all there attacks in, you would prolly have to make like Smash Bros. controls (Up +A or Left +B and such) That would do it, it would be harder to master but the moves you could pull off... *drools* |

no that website was about gba/sp games being sold, a long ways down was a megaman pack but it really holds no relevance to this discussion.
but yeah on topic, maybe they might move the zero series to the ds where you can use the other buttons for the other attacks and have the touch screen for move selection and subtank use on the fly.
