i need a bit of an explanation

when mmz first came out i never really payed attention to it because i didnt like the idea of megaman not being the main character.
but after seeing last cataclysm, im starting to become interested in this series so can some1 tell me wat its about and wat happened to X

X series ends when Irregular Hunter X Light traps Sigma Cain in an ELF.
But something happens, Mother Elf becomes Dark Elf because of Dr. Weil, ELF WARS ensue, chaos, X sacrifices himself to stop the war, using his body to trap Dark Elf. X becomes an...elf...thingy...
Neo Arcadia, in need of a new leader(N.A. was created by X after the Maverick Wars, it's his Elysium) makes Ciel create a copy, Copy X/ Master X.
He has same capabilities yadda yadda but is immature and has no experience.
Problems of energy yadda yadda, Neo Arcadia starts to "depose" of any Reploid for any or no reason.
Ciel escapes with many reploids from Neo Arcadia, and sets a base in an old city, where Ciel researches a new energy source to stop this massacre.
But Reploids will soon extinguish if something is not done and Ciel remembers of a legend, "Zero".
She and some soldiers goes to the depths of NA and finds the legendary hero who then protects them from the craziness of X.
But he has lost his memory and such, and he does not know X is not X....that's for MMZ1.

MMZ is a really good game, The Last Cataclysam got me into buying it. I would buy MMZ 2, thats what I have and it's very fun.

Now onto the point, yea the game is quite fun cos of the satisfaction to beating the extremely hard lvls and bosses ;D
