I was wondering why megaman battle network 5 is not as hard as megaman battle network 3. Not to mention that megaman battle network 3 was more popular than megaman nattle network 5.

3 is better becuz it has better music, bosses, and stages but thats just my opinion

Probably because you get chips that are effective in the beginning of the game, and because of the Soul Unison. Who the hell needs a style when I can change to 4 other forms in one battle?

yeah soul unisons were alot more effective and the styles were a bit too limiting (the inability to change in battle and the problem of the weaknesses really could hurt if you were unprepared or caught off guard.) sure they gave some nice effects but i found it a bit hard to get the style i wanted, it took a long time to get and i either always ended up with elec ground, heat team or aqua shield.

I liked 3 because there was a lot more to the plot. 4 was crap, 5 was ok, 6.....I don't have, but I really want it.

Do any of you know about Battle Network 2 or 1? Such as reccomendations, weather to get one of them or not, weather it's challenging, anything like that. 1 has messy net maps but the challenges are pretty easy. The battles are somewhat tough, tougher battle gameplay than MMBN4+ though. The second installment when compared to the first, has cleaner maps, real-world challenges have grown harder, battles are somewhat easier due to newer battlechips. The second game's full of plot as well. |

I have heard the second one to be popular, but still not better than the 3rd one, although I haven't heard much of the first.
