Here are all the differences and here is how to get bug style
XII. Blue and White Differences {~WB} ==============================================================================
One of the most questions that is always getting asked is what is the difference between Blue and White and what is better? This section of this FAQ will answer the question about the differences, and the information will help you decide what game you think is better. I will not say what I think are the better chips, I will let it be up to you to decide what ones are better.
--------------------Difference 1: Giga Chips----------------------------------
The biggest difference between the two games is the differnce in chips. Here is a list of the chips that are exclusive to each version. The chips that are across from each other are what trade places with each other.
Blue White Obtained From =================== =================== =============================== | Folder Back |<-->| Navi Recycle | Merchant in Undernet 4 | | Dark Aura |<-->| Serenade | Complete Serenade Time-Trials| | Alpha Arm Omega |<-->| Alpha Arm Sigma | Get all 7 Stars | | Delta Ray Edge |<-->| Balance | Netbattle Friend | | Bass + |<-->| Bass | Defeat Bass GS | =================== =================== ===============================
Now, I will describe what each chip does and how it can help you and hurt you compared to the other version.
Folder Back vs. Navi Recycle
Folder Back Pros: When you use Folder Back all of your chips that you have used will be put back into your folder to be used again. Your preset chip will also be reset so you will be able to re-use that as well. The best thing about Folder Back is that it resets itself, so that you will have unlimited uses of it resulting in unlimited chips! Cons: The only bad thing about this chip is that in NetBattling a friend it will reset their chips as well.
Navi Recycle Pros: When you use Navi Recycle the last Navi chip used is recycled, and if you used any other chips with that Navi Recycle then they are recycled as well. This chips works on some P.A.s (e.g. BigHeart, BodyGrd, and GutsShoot). It also recycles two of the best giga chips, Serenade and Bass. Probably one of the best things about this game is that you can preset it. Cons: The only problem about this chip is that without Navi Chips it doesn't work.
Dark Aura vs. Serenade
Dark Aura Pros: When you use Dark Aura you will recieve an Aura that gives will block anything under 300 damage (600 if you are on a holy panel). Also it can be preset (you will have to put the +5 reg mem in your Navi Customizer, though. Cons: To be able to use this chip you will have to use the chip called hole before you use Dark Aura. A NrthWind will take Dark Aura away.
Serenade Pros: If you use this chip correctly it is possible to have it deal over 3000 damage. That makes it the most powerful chip in the both versions. However, to make it so powerful you will have to use Navi+ and Atk+ chips. Then to get make it really accurate you have to use area grabs to lock the attack on your enemy. Cons: To get it to do a lot of damage you will need to do some work, and you will probably have to go through a bunch of chips in your folder to get the ones you need to get the most out of this chip. If your enemy has used a lot of area grabs against you the attack will become very weak.
Alpha Arm Omega vs. Alpha Arm Sigma
Alpha Arm Omega Pros: This attack is a rocket from Alpha that does 500 damage in one single attack... that sadly enough is about it. Cons: When you use this attack Alpha will come down into the middle of your area, and if anything is anything on that square then the attack won't work. This attack only attacks the back two rows of the stage causing the front row to be open. If the rocket that Alpha launches hits an object then it will explode. Yet another problem with this chip is it comes in the chip code "V", which is very rare.
Alpha Arm Sigma Pros: This attack is the most powerful single attack in the game. When you use this attack Alpha will drop down into the middle of the battle field and use his lightning attack dealing 400 to the top and bottom of the battle field and then 800 to the middle. Cons: When you use this attack Alpha will come down into the middle of your area, and if anything is anything on that square then the attack won't work. If there is an objec in the way the attack won't go through it. Yet another problem with this chip is it comes in the chip code "V", which is very rare.
Delta Ray Edge vs. Balance
Delta Ray Edge Pros: This attack is capable of doing 660 damage, and the attack is very accurate. Cons: This attack is very hard to make it keep going. It take a lot of time and work to master it.
Balance Pros: This attack removes a half of everybody's HP. This helps to defeat enemies with high HP. Works great with Muramasa and LifeSwrd Y. Cons: The only problem with this attack is that it will hurt you as well as your enemy.
Bass + vs. Bass
Bass + Pros: This attack does 550 damage and the nice thing about the attack is that it the attack pierces enemy shields. Cons: To be able to use this chip you need to use Hole chip. It also only hits one row of enemies so that it is a bad attack if you have to defeat multiple enemies. Also Bass + comes in the rare code "X", which makes it hard to fit into a folder.
Bass Pros: When you use this attack Bass will come down and use his buster attack. He will shoot randomly around the stage. This works great with prisms, because it hits those prisms and shoots your enemies multiple times. Cons: To be able to use this chip you need to use the Hole Chip. This attack is easily blocked with any object. Also Bass comes in the rare code "X". which makes it hard to fit into a folder.
--------------------Difference 2: Mega Chips----------------------------------
The only diffence in Mega Chips are the two different bosses' chips. In white you get to fight MistMan to get MistMan chips, and in blue you fight BowlMan to get BowlMan chips. However, you will have to trade these with a friend to get them between the two versions because you need them to complete your library.
--------------------Difference 3: Bosses--------------------------------------
There are a couple differences in bosses. In blue you will fight BowlMan instead of MistMan. Also in blue you get to fight Mr. Famous' new Navi named Punk. However, sad enough you can't get Punk's chip it is only available though a Capcom Event.
--------------------Difference 4: Styles--------------------------------------
There is only one difference between the styles in the two versions. In blue version you will get Shadow Style which allows you to turn invisible when you charge your buster. In white version you get Ground Style which allows you to crack ground when you charge your buster.
--------------------Difference 5: Navi Customizer Blocks----------------------
The only difference in the Navi Customizer Blocks are the blocks that are gained from leveling up shadow style and ground style. As you level up these different styles you will gain differnt blocks exclusive to white and blue.
--------------------Difference 6: Shops---------------------------------------
Another difference between the two games are the shops. The shops sell items that in the other version you would have to search for. I don't know the exact differences, because I didn't write them down.
--------------------Difference 7: Random Things-------------------------------
Some other things are that are different is the box art, start-up screen, some of the graphics are different, and the Blue Mystery Data and Green Mystery Data are a little different.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>->Bug >->Have glitches in Navi Customizer >-> Below are things that could happen with Bug style > 100 Barrier at start > Buster attack, speed, etc. Max > Could get pulled from top to bottom > HP drains slowly either in battle or in chip select > Invisible for awhile > 10 chips to start with >->Follow Navi Customizer blocks gained > LV. 2- BugStopper > LV. 3- DarkLicense
