I was talkin to VileMKII yesterday and I came up with this wierd theory, and I'd like to hear more opinions on it.
Since Sigma is a virus and has had many forms in the various X games, I theorize that there is only really one boss in every game (except Command Mission): Sigma. You just fight him 8-10 times but each time you fight him he is in a different form.
Now, you may argue that Lumine controlled Sigma, but I say that Sigma just wanted everyone to think that, and killed a copy of himself while in Lumine form. This is doable since more than one of any robot can be made.
So, yeah, that's my theory. I await the debate.

I don't know if my opinion conts here since the only X game i ever played was command misson but i have to say everything you said makes sense

I await the debate. ....eeeaaaaahhh.....I don't think so...Sigma is not stupid. when he built that ...kingdom on the moon, that was his final shot. he really thought he was gonna beat X right then and there, which was why he didn't have a super body handy just in case. and plus, my other point counts again: sigma isn't stupid...and he doesn't think that way. he wouldn't kill himself(copy or not) just to on-go his plan at whatever. He does have a little mind-game abilities(as seen in X4) but only if its full proof. him dying isn't full proof...at all...well, once it was, but that was because it was FP just that once(him dying to release massive amounts of the virus via X5)..you get what I'm saying?.. |

ha HA!! I'm glad you think so!
But I want someone to dispute it and totally prove me wrong, because 1. my ego does not need another pump on the old inflater, and 2. I enjoy arguing.

such a broad topic but interesting, of course sigma always had a reploid body then a typical big huge form for the second round, then in X8 you get to fight a copy reploid posing as Sigma, which could in fact relate to Sigma being in disguise letting others think he is disposed of, but as Uiariuiamu says the maverick virus which he is bore from was heavily placed all over the world in X5 and then separated from the earth into sparce traces on the moon in X8 which was the source of his power which would kill him because he needs the virus, ( mmx6 Gate Revived Sigma from Data, Sigma did not revive on his own due to sparse virus)
I forget where but i was reading on some site that before MegamanZero while zero was sleeping X was to have faced Sigma but i'm not sure ( not check marked )

No sigam is gone for good, X fought the Dark elf alone to my understanding, also sigma has only one body as a time for these resons
1: he always stays in hiding
2: sevral mavricks do oppose him (the skilver and other replaforce members, and Dynamo)
3: each reploid has there own personalty in which would cause sigma to have a split personalty disorter in the fact that he dose not, he never acted diffrent from his time as commander of the mavrick hunters, till his death at the moon, the only diffrence was that he became more and more crazy. + sigma's haterid for X and Zero would cause him to revail himself to them in the first fight. my point of veiw made clear

I don't really know if yo agree or disagree with that. Technically, you're right, Sigma is the virus and he infects any reploid he feels like by causing them to go berserk or other things. Another argument in support...Sigma is like "The Borg" if you consider Sigma to be like "The Queen".
However, Sigma also has a personal body at his disposal. So, you make the call.
