Every reploid that were manufactured gained their design from X. When he was discovered in an archaeological dig by Dr Cain they started analyzing his data and found out that he can act of his free will and can break the most important law of robotics, that robots are not allowed to hurt human beings, then they started incorporating his data on future robots, which are now regarded as reploids. If your wondering about Zero he was created by Dr Wily to destroy Megaman (Rockman), but was never seem to be released, and the Sigma Virus originated from Zero.

and to add on to that reploids have their own complete free will unless infected by a virus whcih forces them to become mavericks..BUT a reploid can become evil if they want so a maverick hunter can suddenly say eh im gonna quit the maverick hunters and start killing humans lol
at least im pretty sure

Also, if you read letter from Dr. Light in the beginning, you find out that every reploid should be encapsulated for 30 years before being released.

Well then there's also the part in ZX that wasn't mentioned. Since Ragnarok crashed and nearly endangered the human race Ciel invented the Biometals to give humans the oppritunity to fight back. Mavericks became weaker and were forsed out of the city and were then called Irregulars. For some reason all Reploids became mavericks at the time cause everything is human except for Prarie. But the the biometals were left buried away until a few irregulars took them and guarded them.
I think that's how it goes but anyone can correct me.

i dont think that all reploids in ZX are mavericks its just that they THINK youre a maverick because you look suspicious

Well not really the bosses in MMXMC where not capsuled for 30 years Yes, that is true. The 30 years was just Dr. Light's very strong caution. Obviously, technology went up a bit so it didn't take 30 years for a reploid to be released safely. Don't you find it interesting though that X hasn't been Maverick once in all of his games? 30 years! Who's gone maverick? Zero, Sigma, Vile, all other Mavericks. Call me crazy, but I think the thirty years may be what prevents X from going maverick, almost like 30 years creates the vaccine to the Sigma (Zero) Virus automatically. It's far-fetched, but you never know. That may just be the case.

You probably think they're a maverick cause they are Reploids. lol
"Hello Master X. I hear you're the only reploid that hasn't turned maverick so far while-" "Sweetie what did I tell you about talking to mavericks!?"

No, I think they turn maverick because they were not encapsulated.
The only question that is never answered is how long Zero was encapsulated. If that is more than 30 years than my theory goes down the toilet.

actually im pretty sure wily made zero after the megaman series..and then i think he actually RELEASES zero without the 30 years and then something happens and zero becomes encapsulated again.but thats my theory

You know ths is all Capcom's fault for not shedding any light on what happened between the classic and the X series.

However, plotholes allow for different interpretations of what happens. Have you ever seen the series, "MegaMan/X: Final Battle" and its sequal "Bass' Revenge"?
