Thanks for reminding me for that detail that I forgot about to why reploids are special, and why in the first MMX it had that warning thing in the beggining about X's design. One of the strangest things I found in the series is that why are most of the Mavericks you face are based on animals, and how would reploids react to seeing animal faced reploids in public?
Maybe to make different varieties of reploids?

ooh, I played Megaman X 1-3 and 8, I played 1-3 in the SNES when i was like 7 or 6, I never realy read the text because i didnt understand english that much back in the day.....

Dr.Light made X because he knew megaman would die or something so he made X to replace him for when it happens but since x could disobey the robot law that a robot must never harm a human Dr.Light locked X away in a capsule for testing but then the capsule got buried into the ground or something.A century later Dr.Cain found X.this is more than you want to know but i just felt like telling you

....Sank into the ground? No. Docter Light simply died before he got to finish his research.
Back on topic, I think that the "Megaman" part on the box was simply a typo. Nothing more then that.
