I think Protoman should have never been replaced by Zero...Like a Megaman look a like was still in it...so why could they have like kept the name Protoman and just made a Protoman look a like...I'm pissed...
I'm not saying Zero is not cool..but..I like Protoman better..

If you're pissed get over it. Its been done and its been done for awhile. Protoman and zero are completely different characters, no connection at all.

Zero is absolutely NOT a replace of Protoman. In fact, the X series were supposed to be the ZERO series in the first place, but due to the fear that megaman fans would not be able to link Zero to the megaman series, they made X the star of the games...
Also, it seems Zero was supposed to be a girl but I never read proof of that myself...

I'm not interested in who I like more between Zero and Protoman, the only thing I want to know is what happend to Protoman during the X series.

He probably died at the end of Classic with the rest of the characters. Probably Zero killed them all

Its unclear as to who killed who but at some point, zero and bass killed them all.

Light died of old age. at the funeral, Protoman's "problem" caused a nucular explosion, Bass was going to attack them, he was in the blast, blah blah blah..... thats what i think. seems reasonable.
