Gamestop.com has officially released the Megaman X Collection, along with a LIMITED EDITION MEGAMAN X CONTROLLER!

megaman x collrction? is it every megaman x game or just a few?

X collection is Megaman X through X6 on one or two discs, it has some extra features such as the megaman racing game (formerly called rockman battle and chase ) and i'm not sure what else.

Amazing what Nintendo can fit onto a 3-inch disk.

yeah i am surprised at that too, considering it only holds 1.5 gigs or something like that where the ps2's dvd has up to 4.7 gigs.
my only problem with nintendo's version is
X1-3 megs
X2-3 megs
X3-3 megs ( if using snes version, larger if using saturn version )
X4- min 200 megs ( haven't seen exact size but it has to be atleast 200 considering music, cutscenes and game )
X5- 500 megs
X6- 500 megs
battle/chase- if it is over 400 megs it shouldn't fit on nintendo's disc....

We've got all the hype, all the proof. The stuff was done, the remixed tracks are made, the voice dubs were done...

...But they're not in the final package!? This is a pure outrage! Capcom PROMISED us this stuff! And guess who the main factor in the fancy stuff's removal was!?

Keiji Inafune himself. Yes, the moron ordered all that stuff taken out 'cause "it could steal thunder from Maverick Hunter X" which just ticks me off because I was looking forward to buying the game for the said stuff. Now I've just lost faith in the entire Megaman series simply because of Inafune's irrational selfish decision. I doubt even Rockman ZX can cure my blues.

I mean, X1-X2's tunes were pulled 'cause of Inafune, Capcom's idiotic executive director pulled the re-done script and re-done voices from X6, the maverick names WERE NOT fixed in X5, and just UGH! SO much freakin' infuriation.

If you're pretty damn pissed off at this as well, just sign this damn petition.

To qoute myself in the Capcom is ending megaman thread: "Capcom is stupid but not suicidal". Boy was I wrong. Why waste the time, money and effort to make all that stuff if he rips it out of the final product?! Now I wonder if its all of capcom that's lost their minds or if its just Inafune thats dragging the whole company down. I think he's intentionally trying to kill capcom, there is no other explanation for his recent stupidity. I'm not buying Irregular Hunter X I'll tell you that much.

couldn't be the real one, why? because by signing it he has agreed to the terms of the petition regardless of the comments. and as the creator of megaman i would expect him to know better that to make that mistake.
