i always had this question in my mind....
Is Megaman X a brother of original Megaman (Seperate bodies)
or
HE is megaman (same bodies but upgraded to megaman x)

It's actually none of those. X was made based on Megaman's chateristics and the special weapon steal thing. They're 2 whole different people or robots. In other words, X is like a feeded version of Megaman. Kind of like a clone but not really.

Exactly, he's Rock's brother.
I don't think X = Rock, they're too different.
And X was already under production while Megaman was active, so it would be pretty awkward.
Yes it's never said when X was made, but Wily copies Light, and if Zero was almost complete, at least his body, in Power Fighters & Battles then probably also X.

They're not technically brothers but if that comes to the fact that they had the same creator, then they actually are. They're two different bodies though.

They are in fact two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT entities, just created by the same dude.

Yeah i thought, but megaman was made by dr.light but x was created by dr.chain, but i know that x isn't a clone, he's just upgraded!

Does it matter?
You can easily just remake the whole megaman series if you want to. Alot of people just remake things, like I am remaking DBZ. It isn't hard to do, and they are considered doujinshi or fan fiction by the general public and there are people willing to pay you for writing fan fiction, believe it or not.

i believe that megaman x and megaman has different bodies, i think it would be kinda stupid if megaman was upgaded to x.in the series megamanx and megaman are somhow conneted even though they dont share th same body.

Yeah, but capcom is known for its stupidity ;D But making MM & MMX the same person/robot/thingy? that would be too much, if its a new series, yrs in the future, the same old hero would be boring ( even if he is upgraded  ) |

yeah but remember in the zero series, X and Zero have been around for over a hundred years, and Zero has been in many games with X (as a playable character) right i think its like 7 or 8 games Zero has been in, spanning several years so either in real world time or in videogame time Zero is pretty old too.
