Ok Now I'll tell you guys about my Megaman theory -
In MM8 Duo was fighting with an evil looking thingie in the intro movie.They crushed to the earth and everything had started.
Dr. Wily took that evil power in its intro stage - And I actually think he created zero with that..virus...
And Zero born as a killer robot master of course - I don't really know what he did as a rabot master that time.Mebe he killed megaman Roll and the others who knows .(Cause we remember zero looking at his own bloody hands in a video in MMX4 right)
Anyway I dunno who created Sigma that time and how but in that time Sigma was a good guy.He was a commander of a HQ actually and he fought with the evil zero (We know that video too)
In that fight , You remember Sigma punching zero's head ? And thats where all the things had happened - I think the virus in zero's body took over sigma (cause Sigma hit that point) and Zero lost his memory there
And thats why zero knows almost nothing about his past and hardly remembers everything.And Thats why Sigma knows almost everything about Zero's past...
Ok , so whaddya think ?

Ok , so whaddya think ? heres my take: about Duo, im not too sure, but that might be the case. i think that Zero was created to defeat X when he was awakened. Sigma, i think, was built by Dr. Cain, like all of the other reploids. i think he got the Virus during that battle as well. |

I do think Duo has a lot to do with Zero...However,that evil robot that DUo was fighting at the beginning of MM8 may always be a mystery...but,that doesn't mean I tried INSANE things to try and find a way to fight that guy!
Now, I'm pretty much wondering how did Wily suddenly have a spree of success?see? He suddenly JUMPS from a loser to . . .THAT!
See...he was making robot masters that ANYONE could see coming...then he suddenly creates KING....Practically the closest thing to a reploid in the original series! Then...he makes zero!! Where did this sudden burst of Robot making knowledge come from?! Look at some of Wily's robot masters...then look at Zero...He's so detailed and powerful..I MEAN,HE BLEW OFF VILE'S ARM WITH ONE SHOT!
See what I mean?

In Megaman 7, Bass stole designs from Dr. Light's lab. It is rumoured that Wily used some of the plans for Megaman X to build Zero. With what, I'm not sure, but it very well could have been the evil stuff from Megaman 8. It's all speculation at this point.
And as for Sigma, he was designed from the Reploid factories to be one of, if not THE greatest reploids, early in 21XX. He was fighting the good fight, until that fateful encounter with Zero. The virus transferred from Zero to Sigma, and that's what made Sigma rethink his stance on the neccessity of human life.
As for Zero's past, many people believe he personally killed off Megaman and company sometime in 20XX, but again, until Capcom gives us the real scoop, it's all speculation until then...

Ok, Wily took MMX's plans and combined them with a variation of Bass's power source to create Zero as the ultimate fighting machine ( a REPLOID)
Now, Capcom kinda cut it short from there...FlameZEro's correct about the Sigma bit though, and...X was simply meant as a keeper of the peace...WITH UBER WEAPONS

no sigma was originaly a HUMAN as the MW started.He was a general.His name was Sigmanius.One day a Maverick killed him.Dr.Cain used Sigmanius body to make Sigma.Sigma got affected with the Zero Virus.Thus creating the Sigma Virus.He got out of control and the rest is games.I got that from a site.Dont remember which

No...actually, it says (In the power battles and fighters) he was made to destroy Megaman and Bass. He probably based Zero off of X's designs(you know.. Bass might have stole them and what not) but,I doubt that X was made before Zero. Light would have(Likely) only activated X in an emergancy. Zero KINDA... qualififes as an emergancy...
