What happened at the end of megaman 8. All i remember is that there was some virus bass was infected with. And Wily attacked Megaman with something.

Bass ate one of the evil spirit thingys that came out of space along with Duo, tranforming into - oh my goodness - his Treble combination form! Then Wily fight followed, with the usual flying skull and the collapsing of the laboratory. After that, Duo walked there to fetch Mega out, who wakes up later in Light's lab, meets Protoman in some meadow during the night, while he calls Duos name to the distance.  Apparently the evil spirit thingys were some empowering things that came out of the alien life form that Duo whacked. |

I dont know, I never finished it. But if you watch the opening movie, you will see Duo (the blue thing) and the evil alien (the Purple thing) fighting. the purple guy will break apart and Duo, being the anal good guy he is, tries to destroy all the evil energy. Aquaman is gay...I mean, RAINBOWS??? and WTF is with his voice? sorry....Kinda like sword man, too easy though.

The Megaman 8 mini movies were awful. It was dubbed atrociously and it's completely unreal even for megaman.

Tough crap. You don't get a game for the voice acting or the movies. YOU GET IT FOR THE PLAYING PART. If the playing part is good, but the graphics and movies suck, deal with it. Look at Super Mario Bros. Bad graphics (now, but not at the time) no movies, but its fun AND challenging. The ball thing was fun. kick into Duo's face. ;D

Megaman 8 - My first MegaMan game. I beat it again through ePSXe (my PSOne has kicked the bucket, my 40gig PS3's worthless for PS2 and PSOne games DESPITE its backwards compatibility and my PS2's just about dead, i'm not illegal kthxbi) and yeah. You DO buy a game for the voice-overs to be at least respectable. It's sorta expected nowadays, so saying that you only buy a game for gameplay and not graphics, sound, music, etc. is kind of a weak argument. Finally, the voice-acting DOES affect you when you get a weapon (oh LORD hearing him say 'FLAME Su-WORD' was hilarious) and when he shouts every time you use a power-shot...it annoyed the hell out of me, not to mention his death-shout. But yeah, it's like MMX4 - Either you watch the cutscenes for a laugh/cry (depending on how you react to these things  ) or you skip them and try not to get deeply scarred by them. As for an ending: Megaman confronts Wily but fails to capture him AGAIN, Wily's fortress blows up, Duo saves Megaman from 'evil energy' and then tells Protoman to thank Megaman for something rather. THE END. Now someone tell me why I can't beat Wily's fortress in MM9 -_- *Edit* Miguel the good fellow informed me that my argument, too is weak. So I've editted it! |
