Who knows. No one knows. Yah... From the news I gathered lately, neither MM9 and Dash/Legends will come out to the market because Inafune refused the project book for the sequels ;_; so we may never know... Seems that a MMZ5 is confirmed though...hoping they have for once a good explanation FOR ZERO REVIVING GRAFAJAFAJAFAJ, and maybe MMEXE is coming to an end...meh, I guess this guy resumes what I think: "In other words. Inafune pretty much spit on every MegaMan fan's face with no remorse"  And for everyone from GameSpot, Dr.Light is a playable character in the MegaMan X Anniversary Collection! Seriously I was being sarcastic...joking about Gamestop's ridicoulos errors(Mega Man's alive!? Oh and damn...how blind I was...everytime I chose Zero against the RepliForce Doctor Thomas Right was right there behind me covering my back...gee...)

Well I found out what happens between MM and MMX. Wily sends Zero to the city. Zero kills everyone. He kills Roll Hhe kills Megaman, Doc. Light. Only Protoman survieved.
Sigma was a good guy in that time. He was the Hunter leader. He faced Zero in a battle. Zero almost kills Sigma untill a W gets in the emerald on his head. He gets a headache. Sigma gets up and smashes on the emerald on his forhead Zero go's uncoincies*bad bad grammar* And the so called virus that was in Zero jumpt over to Sigma. So after that Zero became a good guy. He met X and became his friend. And thats how the X series begin.
Btw Bass got killed by Megaman.
Cozzz Bass was the strongest robot. He went nuts and all. He tought no one could stop him.

...What? The first part is all theory rubbish and has no base.
The second part whoever played MMX knows, but not exactly like that.
Sigma defeated Zero when he went in agony(when the W[ily] appeared) and punched it to make him go K.O.
THen went to Cain, got into recovery and started training Zero himself.
Until MMX1 goes out ecc ecc ecc.......took time for Sigma to go maverick...

But Sigma became maverick coz of that he smashed on Zero's emerald. I think some sort of Wily virus infected Sigma.

I believe the Sigma virus is actually from Zero rather from Sigma himself. But another story explains that it was simply because of the "free will" which made Sigma think something like: Bah, humans stupid, Mavericks l33t!
So he went Maverick.

Sigma went Maverick later, but it is uncertain wether by free will, he was the most advanced reploid Cain made, should be immune to the virus?, became THE virus, Cain says he seemed to 'have decided' that humans were obsolete....but he attacked after getting the virus/defeating Zero and training him...and Lumine continues to say evolution, Sigma's data being in the copy chips, being Sigma, etc etc etc...
But here isn't to explain Sigma's motives and story of Rockman X and the Maverick Wars.(Maverick /=/ Virus Affected, but any reploid that has violent tendecies against Humanity)
