Several months ago, I downloaded a demo of a program titled MixFX which was supposed to be a Flash animation program. Upon installing the demo, my computer started overusing its RAM for system files, ultimately making my computer so it can't do certain things. For example, a file that would normally only use around 800 KB RAM is now using 133828 KB RAM. Luckily, we have a second computer, but I will probably have to re-install the OS on the other computer to try and fix it, because the virus scan can't detect whatever is causing the problem.
As a side note: The program itself is supposedly $27 US. Personally, I'm not even going to go after the real thing since the demo caused a problem on my computer. I have a feeling that it is just a $27 virus, but unfortunately I'm not entirely sure.
People of Flamezero Board looking for a cheap Flash animation program or demo of a program, you have been warned. Whatever you do, do not download that program demo, and I wouldn't recommend you buy the full program either.
