I'm looking for some MMZ sound effects. Anyone know where I can find some or know how I can rip them myself? I think I'm ready to start experimenting with sounds.
Other thread is dead and only listed BGM. I have enough of those =(.

I have no idea where to get MMZ sound effects... (I haven't been able to find any either.) As for ripping them yourself, I tried that but I couldn't do it (The audio either wasn't layering right or otherwise couldn't be seperated into layers for me. )
Having said that, you might have better luck. But I can't really tell you how to do it either... as to do so would violate forum rules (no emulation discussion.)

I would like to get my hands on the basics for now, like sword slashes, hitting sounds, gun fire, explosions.
I'd be cool to get as much as possible but for now, I'll take whatever I can so long as I can make use of them.
Also, while we're on the sound topic, I requested to make a web page as a project for one of my classes so I can be excused from the rest of the projects. Adding sound effects would be a nice touch and from what I've heard from my brother, flash already has some sound effects but I got a feeling that they're probably gonna be lame beeping noises and stuff. Is there a site that archives a bunch of sound effects?
btw, viruszero, I notice that you have an msn logo under your user info. Would it be alright if I asked you through through there?
