I just got Macromedia Flash Pro 8, and I can't seem to understand any of it. Whenever I paste a sprite, I can't seem to get rid of the background color around the sprite. When I erase, it shows the eraser taking effect, but for some reason when I let go of the mouse, nothing is erased. Also, when I paste, the sprite always appears upside down...
If anyone can either help me with this or direct me to a good tutorial that will help me with sprite flash movies, that'd be greatly appreciated.

I mean pasting them onto Macromedia Flash. I know how to do all that on paint, but not Macromedia Flash.

That's where looking will get me. Heh. Sorry.
Anyway, thanks Netto. But what about the upside down sprites when I paste them in? I mean, I can alway rotate, but it gets a little... tedious...

ditto but when I import and trace images
and make my first sprite a symbol and a movie clip
and cut the others all at once or one at a time and then when I double click my movie sprite to paste them and set my key frames nothing happens I just have one big jumble of sprites
what i'm doing wrong besides everything
