Hey guys Its been a while since I last worked on making flash aniamtions but now Im really back and working on them but this problem occured and it really annoys me.. Its a simple one so I think most people will be able to help.My gif aniamator program suddenly got f*c*ed up(Ooops..an admin shouldnt be using words like this tee hee...edited.... ).It just doesnt work my computer may be infected by a virus that must be the reason.I was using Coffee cup gif animator. I have looked around net for an hour and downloaded the same gidf aniamtor program but this only made my computer have more virusus .Net is really not that safe these days..:/ So help me without my gif aniamtor program I cant make my flashes.Thats my own style of making flashes ( Yeah mebe thats my secret I always make gifs and then make them look good in flash itself... ^^) I need a gif animator program which is not complicated and easy to use also I want to make gifs transparent too so the program must have the feature to do that too.. Thanx (I cant actually believe that after all this time Im asking for a flash help haha )

if they have pc world in usa (how do i know, i'm stupid) ask if they have any like firewalls of anti-software there for your pc, and do that after (if) you install a vaccine of some-sort to delete the virus. so:
pc world, ask 4 vaccine/ firewall, install & hey presto (hopefuly)

If that doesn't work, you could always use flash itself to make the gifs.

yeah, actually if you use flash to make the gif's as movie clips instead then anytime you want to make a flash with that character all you have to do is import those movie clips to the new one. and then you just animate with those movie clips.
I dunno if you use the trace bitmap way or not but incase you don't know what it is, here it is:
1- import the sprite sheet into flash's stage 2- click on it, then in the menu click trace bitmap 3- flash will turn it into a bitmap, now click on the background of the traced sprite sheet, hit delete to remove it. 4- select the sprites with the marquee tool ( or what ever it's called ) and then cut them. 5- create a new movie clip ( ctrl-f8 or insert-> movie clip... i think ) then name it (preferably a good descriptive name for future reference) 6- paste the sprites into it, then select all but the first sprite and cut them. 7- insert a new key frame, then on this key frame paste the sprites. 8- delete the sprite that got transfered over from making the new keyframe 9- align the new sprite where the one you deleted was ( onion skin and the rulers really help here ) 10- do this for every sprite of this particular section of the animation ( ie- all sprites of naruto's punch movement in one animation ) 11- repeat the process for each different set of sprites
hope that helps. (also please bear in mind i wrote the above without having flash open to verify the names of things, so it may take a few seconds to find things in the right menu.)

Actaully, if you want better qaulity sprites that aren't blurry, after you import the spritesheet, hit properties on it in the library, uncheck allow smoothing and change the other option to lossless PNG/GIF. Then go on ahead with VirusZero's tips. When you position the sprites in a movie clip, I find it easier to highlight the sprite on the blank frame and go down to the bottom and change the x and y axis to 0, then fudge it between the two surrounding frames. How do you get the onion skin? I've tried FBF for MMZ5, but it never comes out right, and an onion skin would really help...
