Well I want to share this with everyone in the forum.
A few days ago when I was on my way to school three guys holding knifes appeared on my way.There was noone around.They came towards me and forced me to give them my mobile phone.I was so afraid..I didnt know what to do..I didnt want to give it to them as it was a very cool one too.Though I had no choice.They really might have killed me.
Anyway..I gave it to them - but they werent satisfied and they were looking for a fight it seems.They punched me a few times in the face.And then they ran away.Then I saw two people walking around.I asked for help.and they told me that my face looks terrible.When I touched it it was all bloody...They told me to go the police station...and I went there of course.
I washed my face there..They asked me plenty of questions...But as a result they couldnt do anything about this incident.
There isnt any scar or anything else on my face.Im cool and handsome as eva..Thank god...
Though the mobile phone is gone Im happy that Im still alive.But now Im trying to get over this.It willt ake a while though.I cant walk on the streets safely these days.It will really take a while for me to recover.Im like "Omg sumones gonna come and attack me" while walking.
So taa-daa Im here..still alive..will make flash movies..And god damn those other guys..if only they were not holding those knifes I would show them really.
So..yeah..thats it... : D

thats rough, but it wouldn't have mattered if they had knives or not, with 3 of them they would just group attack, you might be an excellent fighter but can you handle 3 attackers at once? have you tried calling the company where you got the cell phone and reporting it stolen? if you do that and the idiots try and use it then they can be tracked and most likely caught as long as they don't pawn it off, if you report it stolen you will need to have proof it is yours such as any recipts for it or if you have the serial number would be enough to prove it is yours, plus an exact description would be beneficial in identification. hope you retrieve your possesion and they get a nice jail term for what they did.

Virus Zero is right. If you call your phone company they might be able to trace the phone and the police can find the losers that held you up. If they can't track your phone you can at least have the people shut down service to that phone so they can't use your money.
Dammit I hate the cowardly scum that do stuff like that.

thats rough, but it wouldn't have mattered if they had knives or not, with 3 of them they would just group attack, you might be an excellent fighter but can you handle 3 attackers at once? Depends on the surroundings and what you currently have in your inventory actually... For example, a simple thick, tough branch fallen from a tree would have made all the difference, or even a pencil, some dust on the ground to blind one of them. Bah, I sound like a sensei >_< But yeah, it sounds rather unpleasant, I don't know if they would have really killed if you opposed them, considering a murder is a much heavier crime then just stealing and threatening... But I wouldn't have recommended taking that change though...

anyway heres an article on how accurate these can be www.tinhat.com/cell_phone/tracking.htmlmind it is a bit dated ( 2002 ) but that just means the the technology has been in place for a few years now so they have no trouble tracking it. so as long as you phone is on they can track it pretty accurately ( they say 100 metres but its more than likely that its accurate to within 20 metres) but still if it helps you locate your belongings then give it a shot by all means.

Hi there! i'm new at your forum! Anyway, back to the topic: Everything is not that simple. I had an identical situation, i was beaten on a street in a middle of a day. i woke up in a hospital whith a broken arm, without a phone. If the robber wil remove the SIM card before you contact your mobile operator, there'll be no way of tracing or even blocking the phone.

yes thats true unless they don't remove the card and/or they get traced before they could. but honestly it can't hurt to try that venue, it could mean the difference between getting your phone back and catching them so they don't do it again, or well i think you realise that possibility.

Its important to try and trace it. 1. There's a chance you can get it back 2. You can cancel your phone so the theives don't spend all of your money 3. Hopefully these thugs will get caught and taken off the street so it won't happen to you or anyone else again.

See, the world is totally unsafe to enter alone any more. FZ, from now on, carry a weapon. Arm yourself.
We don't want an excellent flash author who has the potential to make really cool stuff some day to die just because some asswipe wanted a phone. ;_;
