the easiest way is to just use the control panel create a new board ( name it something like staff area ) then there should be a part where you can choose who can see it you pick the groups that can see/post in it and click create, the other members can't see it so no need to password protect it.

if you changed the member groups did you remember to make them match? caps matter.

You do can make a board that can only be vieuwed by staff. I have that to at my forum. Ice Reaver has it too on his. But only staff can enter that board. No password needed.

hmm on my board i set it so modes global mods and admin could only see and it works
but isnt staff mod, gmod and admin anyway?

Anyways. On my forum I got a board that can only be viewed by staff. Includes, mods, Gmod, and Admin.
