If Flame Zero really doesn't want his videos there, all he has to do is contact one of the people in charge of what's on Youtube, and him being the original creator, I'm sure they'll remove it.
I guarentee that will be alot more effective then all the members of a forum coming in bitching at the guy who posted it. or reporting it for breaking rules it didn't break. I know that if you guys did that to a video I posted, I'd just report you all for spamming. >.>;
I don't see what the big deal is. If I were Flame Zero, I'd want as many people to see my work as I could get, and if people were posting my stuff in other places for other people to see, I'd be honored. But if he's really opposed to it, he needs to talk to someone on Youtube.

I suppose you have a point, but I still stand by my claim. The best course of action is for Flame Zero himself to speak with the guys in charge of youtube. Honestly, if people are gonna post Flame Zero's work without his consent, what makes you think people are gonna remove them just cause you asked nicely?
People are stupid, instead of trying to reason with the bigger idiots, you should get the smarter people to boss them around. XD

Because I don't need to be FlameZero to have that content removed... If enough people flag it inappropriate or post comment saying it is stolen, then the theif will either remove it to save face or the moderators of youtube will get it and remove it, potentially banning the theif as well. It's a win-win situation eitherway, the desired result is gotten.
And honestly, roughly 75% of the time, it works. There are the 25% that refuse to do so, then we call in FlameZero to talk to them. Most of the time it's easier just for us to take care of it, and not bother FZ with matters such as this since we know he doesn't allow them to be posted any other than newgrounds.

Well, I guess you got a point, again. If enough people b!tch about something people are bound to listen, even if just to shut them up. And I guess I'd do the same thing Flame Zero is doing, normally when my stuff is stolen I just shrug it off and don't care, and let my friends take care of it if it bothers them.
Good luck getting the videos down. Just know though that this guy won't be the last one to post it. If the videos become popular enough, people are bound to start posting them.

@ Nightmare: Flamezero is a lot like Bossman in that he doesn't really post a lot, and if we can get people to take the videos down without requiring that he go to the people in charge of youtube he'd prefer it.
Regarding his work, I think I'd probably be honored too if people liked my stuff enough to copy it and put it up on youtube and wherever else but thats like sprite theft to him, even if they say that he made it, its there without his knowledge and permission, and as Virus said, credit doesn't equal permission.
That being said, if you can write polite and civil comments, theres a chance these people will cooperate and take them down. If they decide to be dumb, like a few of the past people were we can always go to plan B which is to alert youtube. And it'll look better to youtube if we at least try to reason with these people first. Again, do not write comments if you can't be polite and civil about it.

I know its a double post but this is important.
"Hey there, I'm Jet, a moderator of FlameZero Boards and we'd like to ask that you please take this video down from youtube. We're happy that you enjoy FlameZero's The Last Caticlysm but this video was put up without the knowledge and the consent of FlameZero. Addionally, anything you put up on youtube is supposed to be your own work, we understand that while many people don't comply with that policy but FlameZero would like his work taken down. If this is a problem, we can contact the youtube administration and they can remove it. Please remember that saying that it wasn't your work, or giving credit to the maker is not the same as getting their permission. Thank you in advance for your understanding, and please feel free to direct your subscribers to FlameZero's account on Newgrounds, he'd prefer his flash movies to remain there."
I have sent the above warning to Cybeastx and Indahouse411. Dbzmegaman68's movie was titled the last caticlysm but the title is all he stole, the movie is about Z1 and Z2. I sent the message to Kynaro but based on the comments on his wall I don't think he's going to cooperate.. Sreya got a message. I'm not sure if I should send one to Qwdc since its the collab project and not exclusively FZ's so I haven't messaged him yet. And I've messaged Davr too.
I did some searching myself and I didn't see any more of FZ's videos, I think Virus got most if not all of them. Edit: Found a guy named Fenrir2896 with the Naruto flash, I messaged him too.
And finally, I don't want other members to message these people, the staff have already handled it and more messages will probably just piss them off. If they refuse to cooperate or if they don't respond to me then we'll contact youtube admin.
Edit: Cybeastx has responded to me and has deleted all of FZ's work.
Kynaro has responded and states that he cannot delete the videos for at least a week as his computer is broken, he sent me the message on his Wii.

Sorry if I'm a little late, but I'm not sure the tag in the corner saying" Made my Flamezero" would work, I mean, if saved as an avi somehow, or wmv or whatever, you could open in windows movie maker, and adjust the video zoom, so it zooms in a little past the tag.

A good point there.... maybe if he at the start and end of each one, has credits, an opening credits and closing credits, he'd have in big letters By Flamezero.

Yes, but the editor could cut off the start and the end.

Well Ef them.......how about at random intervals, the words by flamezero slide across the screen when it zooms out alot and needs that space to see the whole movie, that way, if they crop it, they crop some of the main movie, OR under the subtitles it has By Flamzero under it continually, its there the WHOLE entire time.

Or maybe he could have some randomly placed signs in the move which say: "Made by FlameZero. Do not use without permission." Or something like that.
So for example, maybe in the fight scene there might be a close up of Zero and in the background there'll be a sign like that, this way the theives couldn't cut it out without severely butchering the movie. And have all kinds of them randomly placed throughout the movie.

But flamezero doesn't want them on youtube in general. >_> you gotta to make the intro in sepia, and make with semi-transparent letters: DO NOT POST ON YOUTUBE. but you have to need the skills for that!
