So, as two people on these boards have probably forgotten about already, I've been planning to write a story for a while that would basically be my attempt at writing a season of Power Rangers. While the story itself is already planned to the final stages, I'm incredibly fussy about the visuals. Namely, the character designs for the costumes.
It was half-done when I started, since three of the six rangers' avatars are animals that previous series' have already used (A dragon, a wolf and a tiger. Character designs can be copied from Tommy, Merrick from Wild Force and Tommy again, respectively.), so it's just a matter of swapping the colors around.
However, to my knowledge, Super Sentai series' have never had rooster, monkey or tortoise-represented rangers. So I have to come up with three ranger helmets from scratch. Character design has never really been my forte, so I knew I'd need a bit of help.
One of my friends in my Bio class mentioned that, when she graduates, she wants to become a graphic designer, so I asked her if she could help with the said character designs. She agreed to, and I asked her if she'd be expecting payment.
She then said, in her natural voice (which I should've mentioned before, sounds very much like Tea from Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged), that she accepts friendship as currency.
The remainder of our conversation felt a little awkward for me, as I resisted the urge to blurt out "Well that's just super special awesome!" or ask her if she liked penguins.
To summarize;
-I suck at character design
-I have an Asian friend who doesn't, but is essentially Tea
-Martin Billany is no officially my messiah
