Rumors of a new legends

Well there has been a lotta news buzz over The megaman network and at protodude's corner concerning Legends. Though if you all don't know Legends is a game that was the first 3D sereis for megaman and a lot of the legends fans like myself were seeking for a long time after the cliffhanger ending at the end of legends 2. Apparently in recent news a guy named The Shadow who was the one who leaked info on MM9 is also sharing this and there is a lot of fan awe and excitement as well as doubts though I do not know who this Shadow is a lot of fans trust him or her. Though again I'm not sure and I hate to be the butt of a joke later on believeing that legends is looking possible again.

Some fans claim that this could be the off requested megaman game. And since I find this somewhat iffy minus the fact that I am extremly excited about it there has been too many rumors on Legends already why is this sounding to become more believeable everytime more news shows up on Legends. is there going to be the long saught revival or is this going to be the game forever to be o disconiued and be fabled just like Duke Nukem Forever?

What do you guys think? Especailly those I know who are Legends fans like myself how do you feel about it? I am excited ,but getting mixed feelings on this because its starting to get out of hand I think ,but I hope for this at the same time.

I'd be delighted but I won't get my hopes up. Still, it seems like Megaman is in the process of some sort of revival period, what with Megaman 9 and 10, this Megaman Universe thing, numberous cameos in other games (hope they include something nice in Dead Rising 2), and now whispers of some other game. I think Capcom is just now realizing that there's a huge fanbase that hasn't forgotten about the Blue Bomber and I'd love to see a Legends 3 on one of todays systems.

By the way, could you link your source Drifter, I can't seem to find it. Maybe they took it down or I'm just inept tonight, need some sleep.

This article here talks about a rumor started by a guy who was a producer to the legends series, some suspect that this is for the upcoming MVC 3 for Volnut possibly being in that game. Others suspect this is another yank your chain feel just read the comments ,but this article I do not trust much myself really as explaine as Man who loves rocka music alias. This appeared a little into last week about rady to get in to the weekend.

Happened a little after the rumor of an off requested megaman game.

Both the last two articles are what go off the tangent ,but after that there has been more buzz about a possible new legends. I don't think that most of thearticles are at all helpful especailly the last two on this list. There was another for Gamestop,but that was taken off and I can't find that one either. So I hope this is enough to back up what my thread is about.

Well, signs definately look promising for Legends 3. I still hate Inafune though, but if Legends 3 is good enough he has a chance to redeem himself in my eyes.

I didn't know who Inafune was intill after I began researching megaman for my culminating project I did in my senior year. I can't make full judgements on the guy ,but from reading some of the articles despite getting that promotion he fears things will turn terrible ,but isn't that the point of presenting a from of entertainment if you don't take a risk you wouldn't know intill you try and if your product succeeds it succeed it doesn't then well you gave an effort that may have put you in a bad spot ,but you can always hope for the best. I can't blame for having a little doubt because people are hard to please because their cups get bigger and harder to fill especailly us older fans of his games.

Now what exactly made you hate Inafune? I can think of some reasons ,but I want to hear your end. Then again mine might be minor seeing as I only learned about the guy's existance till about like a year or two now...

If legends does come back do you think we can finally get off Elysium after all these years or will we go to Trigger's before time of before he became Megaman Volnut? Is there any additional steps before we can even get to a 3? A lot of fans say remake others a collection much like the other collections so far. And the few who don't give a damn because the series to them is dead.

Random, the Title for 3 was slipped by a drunk member of capcom years ago as "The revival of the dark lord" so my guess, is that because the ancients machines are becomeing more active (Sera and Yuna stated last part of L2) Then my guess is that the world defloods and the Dark Lord is set loose with all his revered.




Now, as for this legends deal. I call that its a remake, and I bet it will play like MM2 because for someone god unknown reason we can't get enough Rockman 2! >_>

Now thats ironically funny. XD I needed that laugh ,but yes that seems that way doesn't it? At this rate the might as well should of made MMPU2 instead of universe which so far is a remake of 2. As the world defloods and we see armagedon as written by Dr. Weil. Sounds likes a holy crusade if you ask me. Thanks man I needed the defunk, but your point is defently valid.

Well if Legends 3 is a remake then they might as well remake 1 and 2 combined so fans can catch up and relive legends in a new light. 2 in legends so far is hard to forget because of the ending and because it ended too cold for a series a megaman series if that. There needs to be more love.

You know how the games would look in the era and not to mention with updates to the graphics, I can imagine the series being more bigger in the ruins department as well as the towns on the giant map. I just hope the music is redone or perhaps kept the same on a major scale because the music has that earthy feel I love so much about it. They can even individualize all the same looking characters in Kattelox and add so much to it and make it god like epic. ;D

So far it seems this article could be it ,but I can't assume Legends this time as there were other games the suffered a fate similer to the legends series like Maverick Hunter X and Megaman Powered Up. So what you guys think?
