Looks like this game is using a lot of Megaman 2 influence especailly in the stages, enemies and even the music. Expect there to be more ,but getting to play as bad box art megaman looks amusing I wonder who else will come in? I know Ryu is there and Arthur and of course the original blue bomber.

Try the Rockman 2 crew plus Rockman himself. (Yes Rockman and Megaman are different characters.)

And the fact that this game is going to be utter Sh**. Its nothing but a sheer remake of Rockman 2. It should be called Rockman Powered up 2, plus some others.

Well it defently takes the cake so far as a Rockman 2 remake ,but there is plenty of other elements and from what I understand after spending time under TMMN News they got to show practically the whole Robot Master Cast of 2 plus a few from Rockman 1 like Cutman. At this point I would have just settled for MMPU2 ,but we got universe though it has a lot from Rockman 2 there is speculation that there is more to the game then just Rockman 2.

Either the Co op is not developed yet or there will be no co op. Its only in the first prelim stages of development as in theres a demo for it ,but nothing else has either been added yet or they still got more to do.
X9 is a want ,but patiance is all anyone can ask for and or the power of fans and so far 58% of the megaman fans favor classic according to Nintendo Power's poll on favorite Megaman series and Zero just beat X at 12% by one percent (X at 12% Zero at 13%) followed by Battle Network at 8% then Legends and Starforce tied at 4% a piece and the lowest was ZX at 2%. So we will never get to see any closure or assurance because of those numbers are only rising for the recent additions to Classic and a refresher of the Zero series thanks to the Collection . Sad day in deed to know that classic seems to be the best seller ,but it has advantages because of older fans. It has nostalgia and a bigger fanbase then X. Though I love each series equally with the exception of starforce and I am still a huge legends fan.

Innovation and likeable characters, plz. And I don't even want that kind of X9 all that badly. The X series has already had eleven games ( X1-8, [/i]Xtreme 1 & 2 and Command Mission) to screw around, make little sense and either be a treat to play ( X1, X4 and X5) or be Battletoads-level frustrating ( X6 and beyond). How's about giving another series room to grow? Legends would certainly do nicely to tie up some loose ends, and I need to see a third ZX game where Grey and Ashe are killed off violently before I die. As for the Original series, Capcom, get back to me when you're ready to make a fun game, rather than just try to make Rockman 2 again for the rest of eternity. Or at least do the Powered Up games up to 8 so I can play as Grenade Man. |

Well according to recent articles theres more to this game then the typical megaman 2 shinanagins. A lot of people on the other boards are complaining like usual ,but I never seen so much griping over the most pointless stuff, but anyways that's not the point. There is more to do and stuff yet to be developed I'm being too optimistic about this game ,but i just wanna see it all the way.
Still waiting for the other sequels if they even have them going at all after this megaman 2 escapade.

Megaman Universe was cancelled, mainly due to the earthquake and Inafune leaving Capcom.

Others believe that it was due to the fans great dislike for it, mainly due to the art style. Its rumored that its undergoing a huge overhaul.
