As far as Lumine is concerned I always thought of him as an it if anything... Perhaps we should do your top 10 odd characters of all time next. It shall be done.... 10. Sigma first form of MMX6: He was too easy and yet looked very old, but i like the odd design of him being incomplete 9. Magma Dragoon:Megaman's Easter egg of street fighter, 8. Fireman:I just can't seem to understand his design, VERY odd and weird looking 7.MMX5 Controlled X(?): I just don't understand him at all. 6.Double: He was funny. I never expected a fat guy to turn into a muscleman. He also said "I'm so going to enjoy this X"  5.Splash-woman: A girl robot? *wink* *wink* ;D 4.Sigma 1st form (MMX4): I just can't seem to get the idea he looks like the grim reaper 3:Yellow Devil: I hate this guy, he's just a big bag full of multiplying pudding squeres 2.Bass:He is possibly the oddest looking guy in the megaman series. I just can't stand the idea of him and his weird bunny ears. And he is a failure of the word "cool" 1.Sigma Final Form (MMX5): It just does not seem right how this was set up. Sigma starts as a small guy just slightly bigger than X. And then he goes godzilla out of nowhere. |

He was supposed to be Megaman X, if you didn't know that already. Instead they named him Zero because people would get confused. So.. why couldn't you just play as this new guy in the beginning that you were supposed to play as anyway? Cuz he didn't look like the original Megaman? A different series under the same franchise can have a new main character if it wants. I wonder how different it would have been if you got to play as Zero instead of X for those first few games.
And oh god, those voices. Those english voices. They were so horrible.

Capcom ordered Keiji Inafune to make the protagonist more closely resemble Rock, because they think kids are dumb-shits who wouldn't know what the f*** if, instead of a blue kid wearing briefs over his under-suit, we were playing as a MegaZord with breasts. And let's face it, for all the angst-ridden girlfriend murdering, good guys dying and turning to the dark side, the Mega Man games are for kids. I'm not even sure if there's a Mega Man game with a rating as high as T. |
