Oh boy... I just can't explain this without sounding like a  a meanie or backstabber... But damn just damn... After spending a while on their forum its a nightmare. I've never seen so many fans argue over pointless things its ridiculous. I am not trying to give them a bad rep as thats where I get my megaman news every now and then. When you compare that bunch to our bunch its just mind boggling how fans can get down to the nitty gritty to express their points in an argument when that matter or subject wasn't meant to be an argument or some sort of debate. I know we can argue ,but we are not complete stiffs about opinions is what I am getting at. Whenever someone has the cajones to speck their mind there is always someone who gets worked up over nothing and goes about it the wrong way mocking or simply stating their stance in the matter in the most rediculous way... Sorry I'm truely sorry ,but I can't seem to get away from the idea of what I read and respond to on their forum... I just think it really sad how there are some people who go to great lengths to create some sort of argument over something that had no intention of said argument happening. Well what do you guys think?  |

You talking about Regal, Flame, and Zan? because Flame is a , Zan is awesome, an Regal just thinks he's right when he tends to be wrong. However I do agree that alot of their stiffs are unneeded. Mainly the one on how to spell MegaMan. But if you go through and read the other threads its kinda funny to see how many different views there are in peoples heads when they don't read their sources or pay attention to the games. |

They're everywhere, huh? Well I guess that'd be obvious, considering I don't jump forums. This, mmx9, and edless fight are my only forums, and they'll be my last. What I'm sayin is that I've seen Flame in a majority of youtube vids relating to megaman, but that's about it, save for X9. If these guys are everywhere, then that sucks.
Sonic forums are full of overall assholes and douche children, and Megaman Forums are full of know it alls that have resorted to anger and asshole-posts to get their point across.
This is why I stick to group forums.

They really went to that much trouble to spell Megaman MegaMan megaman Mega Man? I don't know I always spelt Megaman like this ,but thats way I always saw it... Yeah I'm glad I come here every now and then. It just gets rediculous how fast things go down hill from something positive or noteworthy. And when you try to defend someone and say look he receded that enough ,but no they keep coming with more insults to fill their supposed know it all ego like we must continue with it further then needed too.
Now when I was a recent news post I didn't see Regal, Zan or Flame in fact I have not a clue who they are...? I'm guessing these 3 are the arguers of everything aren't they? No offense.

Megaman Forums are full of know it alls that have resorted to anger and asshole-posts to get their point across. I disagree. You just have a few on each site, hell he had those types here, ones names was Flash. Miguel is also a bit of an , and he admits it. its just how you look at it really. But I agree, I like our small groups, makes us closer I think. Zan is a really intelligent person with alot of megaman knowledge under his belt. I like him because he states the facts as is and has sources to back him up. He's also vary nice and the fact that he takes time to anwser questions is great, even small PM's that I've sent him he is more than happy to help out. I kinda look up to him as the type of megaman fan I want to be. Flame is a douch. He knows his fair share of rockman but the way he goes about it is wrong. he insults people if they miss something and isn't that compassionate. he also doesn't source much, if at all. regal is just a member on TMMN that I've noticed to be one who's trying to learn it all but its somehow twisted up in his mind and he tends to starts thread but his views are wrong and he tends to get shot down by Flame, and Zan corrects him alot. |

Closer and easier to manage I guess. Whenever you go to a public forum it just gets outta hand very fast from what I've seen then again there is some new guy who says this and this without thinking before setting off the other guy who is clearly to infatuated with his standing opinion lati dadi dah.
Now so far I haven't got a stir from no one which is a nice plus I'll admit ,but at the same time it looks like that won't last as I am about to find someone who will eventually. If anything my responses tend to get ignored which hay I don't mind much either because I type in a very neutral type of emotional stir and agree to those I feel that are worthy to agree with and that doesn't happen very often will I agree with someone on a public board.
Then again I'm peaceful about my opinions generally ,but now everyone knows that much about I. I usually do my very best to aviod arguments as much as possible ,but seeing as we are in some sort of discussion its kind of ironic ,but a suttle way with less anger and more laid back dudes.
Zan sounds cool, Regal sounds ok ,but tend to go off in a weird direction with something and there is the average joe who has the knowledge ,but goes about it in a very ill mannerly about it Flame. Gotcha now.

I agree with what you just said. (well...I'm the middle man between you and flash actually. But other than that....) And it seems to be that one or two people thats crew everything over. I could be horribly wrong but I believe alot less people post in the main parts of the X9 forum because they tend to get hounded for their opinions. I only say this because I remember seeing such a thing stated before. But you know me and my memory.
Well I say that's enough of talkin about peeps behind their backs. XD

I'm not a member of TMMN so I really can't comment on the members you've mentioned. (And really it would be improper to anyway because we, the forum, want to stay on good relations with everyone we can.) But I'd hazard a guess that no matter which fandom you go to there are people who think they always know better. Sometimes maybe they really do know what they're talking about. Other times they're just pretending or full of you-know-what. (Maybe they got their information mixed up, or they misunderstood it, or they forgot it and are bluffing. Whatever the case may be.)
And of course regardless of forum type you'll always have people who will want to start arguments. The issue is dealing with them right away as if you let them do as they wish it makes it somewhat harder to deal with them later. (They get more ingrained to the community, possibly even made staff. Which is a horrible thing to inflict on the other members.)
Though I will say that by the sounds of it they need to all just relax a bit. It really isn't a big deal how you spell Megaman... As it's not like Mega himself is going to be offended. And I somewhat doubt Keiji Inafune cares how we spell it, I would think his core interest is just making more games and whatnot.

Classic: Mega Man
X: Mega Man X
Legends: MegaMan
EXE: MegaMan.EXE
SF: Megaman
ZX: Mega Men (man)
all in all, I don't really can. People tend to wonder why I like to call them by their Japanese names, this is exactly why. its the same as the pronunciation of Bass.
anywho, TMMN isn't bad, its a real nice place if you have a question, cept Flame might flame you for it lolpun, or you can ask here and I know I will find an answer if no one else can.

I don't think were going for spelling of said character here ,but oh well whats done is done and its out of my system now. I do agree with one thing though people need to calm down. It just made me stir crazy is all and now I am at ease about it problem solved.  This was all observation of what was read is all and tMMN is one of the most up to date sites of Megaman I know of so if it I means I have to deal with the issues then so be it at least I get to see the daily news. |
