Well I went to my daily news on the Mega Man Network as usual saw recent articles about some sort of attempts at bringing out franchises that deserve sequels. Well I think its just an attempt for us to blow hot air about anything for suggestions by fans of any series of Megaman and whatever else capcom has.
So far from my understanding The Mega Man Network is supporting the suggestional idea of a Megaman legends 3. That is there hope ,but I have doubts on it seeing its been how long since are hopes were dashed at the end of Legends 2? Then again you got the constant cameos of Legends characters showing up in say Capcom vs Tatsuoko, Namco X Capcom and the legendary Marvel VS Capcom 2.
However it seems that there other fans whom want to see other franchises namely Powerstone 3 and more Resident Evil Outbreak stuff. I never heard of Powerstone ,but I have played Outbreak which wasn't all that great I think.
So is there hope for us whom waited so long for a Legends 3 now have a chance or are we going to let the opportunity pass us by because that this is all hopeless thinking? What do you all think? This just my opinion so far and no it isn't a competition either it was just something to start a bit of fire I guess or whatever the ploy was?
So I do look fore-ward to some mixed feelings and a good topic to boot I hope.

There was never a doubt that MML3 was wanted, or at least not planned out. However all of the legends series flopped leaving capcom in a gray zone for the series. It would only appeal to the megaman community, and like any other corporation they want to bring in more and more, not just a fanbase. The amount of money that we be needed to go into making such a game on any of the next gen consoles would demand a high selling rate, which in any megaman game never seems to happen. So its a bit gloomy for us MML fans.
However! The great man himself has announced that for awhile now he, Kenji, has been in fact saving up his own extra money so that the game can come to fruition. He has announced that he would like to see MML3 over any other series, as many Megaman fans would agree.

Given the power of the current consoles, I think they could do some really spectacular stuff with the Legends series.
Expansive worlds, tons of enemies, little-no loading times, masterful puzzles, non-linear places to explore (as in a dungeon with multiple ways to get from a to b.) Massive boss battles with great music. Tons of weapons and alternative modes. (Possibly even co-op multi.)
Maybe even an online mode... Imagine loading up your own Megaman Trigger with weapons and running out to do battle in various arenas.
So I think that they should definitely go for it. I mean they relaunched Legends 1 and 2 for the PSP didn't they? So I figure it's about time they at least gave the series a proper ending.

Maybe even an online mode... Imagine loading up your own Megaman Trigger with weapons and running out to do battle in various arenas. I think it would be cool if you could choose your color and if you could buy/select different items for Trigger to wear. (Such as protoman glasses, a scarf, Forte helmet, Gate's shoulders, different hair, ect) and then choosing your selected buster and sub weapon to go into an arena of chaos. Amazing. That would be a blast.

With the capabilities of these gen systems we can see something truelly theatrical or even anime like since Legend's main appeal a side from the gameplay was its quality of cinematics and overall fluidness than most games didn't had much of back then. Plus its art style. Sure that was all polygons and such ,but now we got the power of CG and or cell shading. And do not forget servbot kicking!!! XD
As for what system it should be on I think it should stay with its roots which is playstation since it is in its own right a playstation classic. Though the first one was also on the N64. If they have the Buster Cannon say goodbye because that was my favorite weapon of choice other than the Beam arm and lifter. Specking of weapons... I always though it be easier to carry another weapon a side from the default lifter or other specail weapon. ;D

Yea, I heard about this awhile back.
At first, i was gonna go for Power Stone 3, but I believe I'mma root for Legends 3. I'm furthermore hoping that Trigger gets a rival for at least a short amount of time. Just like in all the other Megaman Series, Trigger needs someone to do what he can do, only possibly a bit better.
But that's just one of the many things I wanna see from the Dash series. Plus, Trigger is just downright cool. I'm glad he got some attention in some of the fighting games, but he needs some more attention.

Yeah like a game that says my story doesn't end on Elysium with two mother units one of which is the mom of the girl that likes me and other tried to kill me ,but in the end she ends up basically liking me so everything was all peachy keen till one of the the mother units basically spills about the elder system becoming active on terra which just left one big cliff hanger hoping Roll will come like pick me and the two mother units up from our own little trap... ;D
So silver what is powerstone? I've never heard of it inill the article I read began talking about it.
As for rival well he already has the Bonnes, Glyde and his men... (Well if he managed to survie that explosion which I think he did.) an then there was the pirate bros Bola and Claymore.
Well I'd have to say other potential candidates would be other diggers and more airpirates.

Glyde and his men were rivals to the Bonnes. You know, because that was the whole reason for the Miss Tron Game. Plus the bonne's don't count Trigger as a rival but as nuisance who always gets in their way.
Bola kinda seemed like a mentor to Trigger, mainly just because of how he talks to Trigger, giving him advice then testing his abilitys. Plus he just lets Trigger go.
Klaymoor, and yes it is spelled with a K, was just too old to be a rival. He couldn't even keep up with Trigger due to his back giving out. There's not much hope for him

It's a game(and awesome anime) about fighters obtaining these special stones that, when used, transforms them into this super form(Think sonic, except it only takes on chaos emerald lol) and these super forms seem limited by their imagination. The main character gets a mecha suit full of missiles and machine guns and all that, there's this ronin samurai who becomes a samurai knight, a Martial artist that becomes a knockoff super saiyan, Another guy turns into this rock man(Not megaman lol) ect.
The gameplay is very fast-pace and you're in this 3-D highly interactive room,(Throw chairs at peeps, swing off of poles to hit someone, environmental danger, ect.) trying to beat the crap out of someone. Every now and then, three power stones would drop randomly, and if you collected all three, you transformed into your super form. It was possible to beat someone in their supper form, but that was just about as easy as killing Bowser or Wario in their final smash forms in Brawl.
Very fun game, buuut. I'm willing to sacrifice it for MML3....Power Stone was on DreamCast, btw.

I honestly think a character like Quint would be an amazing rival for trigger. They would have similar moves, making him a fun opponent, and it would be clear that Trigger isn't the only digger to use armor and a buster. Plus going green (lol pun) for an enemy would be a nice change of pace.

Zero oh boy... Well I do know some fans that want him as a rival digger and some who see him as an air pirate slash digger. I don't know if he were in legends he'd totally steal the show... Quint oh yes the pogo master. If they ever use him he has got to have the loony pogo stick of his. I know they would fight similar and all its just I can't seem to take him seriously. He'd be more of the comical rival I think or even possibly a Friend. The Green bomber. I guess red and black are out of the question? XD Well I personally think Colonel and Iris would be good picks for a digger rival spotter team. Because a digger isn't as good without his spotter to back him or her up. Though honestly at times the spotter you have tends to point out the obvious a lot. Or even better there is Duo. Then again these character were used twice in two different series and Quint has been used twice in the Gameboy series of megaman.

Well I say Quint because he is a copy of megaman, meaning he uses a buster, and he's a different route then what we're use to seeing. (proto and Bass) He dosn't have to have the pogo, or even be called Quint, I just think that the green and megaman fight style would be a much needed difference in the game.
Other cool ideas though, thanks to you mentioning the spotter, would be like Gemini man, or like Midi and Techno, or like Vent and Aile. Oh that would be sweet to see other megamen!
But yes, Iwould rather see them introduce new characters rather than revive old ones.

Other Megamen? Well from what ZX it is slowly turning into legends. With all the megaman running around I'd assume that's the case with that series because Intecretes believes it all ends with Legends even though at the time legends was made it was not even in the timeline ,but its own universe ,but there are ties now and we assume legends is the last leg to the megaman universe.
We have some proof of another Megaman which is Juno after all and he's not even a purifier like Megaman Trigger.
