Well back in the day when I was about 8 or 9. I remember owning a couple model kit builders of X and Zero. Sadly they broke due to my carelessness and such with in the same year. perhaps I liked death and battle scares too much. Well anyways back on the topic. I am curious if any of you guys or gals had any model kits of megaman or anything like that when you were little or a bit older? I was just having memory moment here and that was one of them. When I was a kid my old hobby was collecting action figures, model kits of things I liked and of course building. I loved my legos and I still have them, but I don't have the first two said items. You are probably wondering why I mention this on a megaman general thread? Well truth be told I saw some cool models recently. however they are two advanced for my level ,of model kit building... Nor am I willing to pay that much for those cool models. I saw them on the megaman network on one of the news bits they had on the site. Those who go there probably know what I am talking about. Here is a link of the actual site where these figures come from. tokyohunter.blogspot.com/2009/08/wonder-festival-2009-summer-atelier-sai.html

I'm not gonna lie. I stopped playing with toys only 4-5 years ago. Late Bloomer. But anyways,...Although I have heard of those model kits, I never could hope to obtain one. I would never find thos in any story(despite the fact that I would never go to a toy store in the first place) and buying online was pretty foreign to me. So I had cheap megaman toys instead. I envy you for even having them for the short time you did lol.

Nothing wrong to express your inner child. I still play with my legos and I'm almost 19 which really tells you how much I still need to grow up. Well if I do ever have family in the future I'll handover and share with them a piece of my childhood.
As for the models... Have you already seen how detailed those things were on the link?

I never had any megaman toys either. I never even knew of them until I got the internet... But since at that time eBay and most sites like that were quite small and virtually unknown at the time, buying them was out of the question.
I'd still sort of like to pick up some of those models... but I lack financial resources to accomplish that at the moment. (I gotta devote all my money to pay off university.)

So right man. Soon I'll be in the same boat when I start college. I still have to find a job and summer in Spokane is the worst time to find jobs... Yeah I was able to get mine at a hobby store in Spokane which used to take in foreign model imports like gundams and the megaman models. In seatle I hope to find a similer store due to the fact its a port city and you can find a variety of things for a good price.
To Silver: Well I might have mentioned it before ,but I'll be up in Seattle enjoying Pax 09 which is a gamer's convention. A very popular one at that. So I'll spend 5 days taking in the place with my uncle and I plan to bring back lots of goodies. Perhaps I'll make a thread talking about my first convention and welll what I did on a daily basis since I do have a Laptop.

I have the Giga Armor for X and Vile Mark II models. Their not bad, but they are super lose and not vary, well good in quaility. At the con I was just as they had iX and classic Mega, but neither one sparked my intrest. I do however build alot of Gundam models, and these new Rockman Zero ones look nice, and that classic one of Rockman holding his helmet. All in all Random I would love that Omega Zero set, and Harp's. Perhaps the glorious Panther or the elegent Elpizo will appear soon?

The guy who does the model making is completly a hobby and somewhat of an independent buisness. Tough to dues most of that himself.

Yes I just reread that part where they were only sold at the con. Sad, I really liked that Helmetless Rockman.

If he made a model of Copy X or Cyberelf X I'd be impressed.
