The Super Mutant creation was a result of experiments done in Vault 87. Correct me virus if I'm wrong on that note.
Well that is not too surprising they end it with Zeta because they practically went over a ton of the story key points with Anchorsage which explained the whole war between the United States and China. They pretty much explained the alian sitings with Zeta. The other two expansions that don't involve the story much are Point Lookout and The Pitt. While Broken Steel expands the main story. As an Xbox user you should already have point lookout and Zeta this month. Point Lookout has been out for a while.
As for us playstation users the date for Anchorsage is September 16th of this year hopefully... If not they will come up with another excuse. I see you found the mighty electric sword. Nice huh? ;D
Well I'd figure after 5 expansions they work on the next Fallout which would be 4 if there is a 4... Other than that I don't know what else would be going on.

Yep, Vault 87 is where super mutants are created.
Though I will say that The Pitt mod answers the question of the slavers... As in where the Paradise Falls crowd sends their slaves. And it allows you a chance to go there and help/screw them over further.
Point lookout has a few ties to the Chinese invading America... But I'm not finished with that mod yet so I don't know the full details about it.
Though they already have another Fallout planned... Currently titled Fallout: New Vegas. And it said that it's not a direct sequel to the Fallout 3 story. (Though it uses the same game engine so it'll look and act basically the same. As well for PCs it'll probably have similar system requirements.)
Fallout 4 though... I dunno if they have plans for it yet.

Ooooh. I knew that, but I forgot. Plus I didn't know wtf those dead things were on the science beds of Vault 87 so I kinda figured that the mutants came from elsewhere as well. Oh well.
Sidenote: Thos motorscycles should've been usable. I wouldn't care that the blow up easily, I wish vehicles were in the game.

Might have been nice to have vehicles... But I can see why they wouldn't. I mean it'd been years since the war ended with everything getting a nuclear washing. Vast majority of the vehicles would be ruined from that alone, then you have to worry about fuel and repairs even if you found one that did work. (And if I recall correctly, the cars were nuclear powered... And it's pretty rare to find nuclear elements that are pure enough to power a nuclear reactor just sitting on the road. Even if you found them, touching them would be a bad idea. What with all the radiation, heat and all. I don't know if the bikes were gas or nuclear powered... either way though fuel would still be rare.) But yeah, having a motorbike with sidecar... Complete with a turret system for the passenger would be a nice touch. I wonder if they'd have a mod like that available for the PC version... I know they have a downloadable kit that allows people to make mods. (Called the GECK of all thinkgs...) EDIT- PC has the motorbike... Along with several other neat mods. MotorbikeThe sword...The gunMay the force be with you...

Remember dude. I obliterated the slavers off the map. However I can't fully obliterate them into Broken Steel with that specail weapon of mass destruction. I have one question about broken Steel? Is Colonel Autumn still there or does that depend if you kill him or not which I did kill him by blowing his head off with Blackhawk. Vehicles are nice ,but that will take the fun out of being the lone wastlandhero. If anything I want a Vertibird and be like all swoop in drop myself off and kill a raider or something big with it I don't care.

Even if you kill every last slaver, there were still slaves that were sent to the pitt before you got to them. So this is just like an explanation of where they went and what sort of stuff they went through.
I believe that depends on whether or not you kill him... If you do then I guess it's his men that carry on. Though I can't be sure, as I don't remember whether I killed Col. Autumn or not.
Though having a motorbike might be neat for faster travel and exploration... But just cause you have a bike doesn't mean you still can't be the lonewanderer... (I mean if anything would break the title it would be if you end up with a companion and the dog.)

That is true. Hmmm well I guess I lost that title since I do have Fawkes and Dogmeat. Though I hardly use either of them. I only had Fawkes for the final battle to the Jefferson Memorial. It was very epic. Yeah I bike is nice ,but there would be no point of it once you have found every location on the map and you can fast travel there and what not...

Do you guys ever take Dogmeat with you at higher levels? I only got dogmeat on my first file, and I find myself to be overprotective of him. Since nothing can revive, I try to leave him out of hard battles. Iunno about you guys, but giant radscorpions are my arch nemesis on all files; they always find me. And when dogmeat's around, I'm completely ignored. It's a shame Dogmeat's attributes aren't enhanced as you level up. I only find him to be useful at the beginning of the game only. (once I reach level 10-11, ammo, stimpacks, weapons, everything starts coming to me more often, so his search ability isn't important anymore.)
Same kinda goes towards allies. They're fun to have around every now and them, but I prefer doing things on my own. They tend to mess up some of the decisions I make when approaching an enemy.

Yeah... I found that Dogmeat was killed way too easily. Not the radscorpions for me though... I was always ambushed by deathclaws or a veritable hoarde of super mutants. And ofcourse Dogmeat is target 1.
Though my other companion doesn't screw things up for me... Cause I just tend to kill everything in my path. If it's marker goes red, it'll end up dead.
As for the searching and finding of ammo... It may be located faster, but man it sure seems like I exhaust more of it. I mean at level 10, I had like 3000 5mm rounds for my gattling gun. Now at level 25, I have like 600 rounds for it left. Even 10mm rounds, I had like 2000 of them before and now I'm down to 1000... Cause I'm using so many of them to kill the enemies. (Those accursed Ghoul Reaver things in Point lookout are extremely tough.)

No kidding... Like how I lost Charon and only had him maybe for one subquest and he died...

Charon was cool for me until Statesman Hotel. Full life, Enclave armor, and so many friggin T.K.O traps for him to run right through...I back-tracked so many times it wasn't even funny.
Anyways, I got the last to add-ons, Broken Steel and Point lookout. Haven't tried out broken steel yet, but I have it downloaded so that I can get the lvl cap raised. But point lookout is hard as hell. I'm at the mansion, and I'm STRUGGLING with tribals.....sheesh...

I know what you mean... There are so many of them, and their guns seem to do more damage or bypass your armor or something...
I found the most effective means to kill the small groups was to use an SMG or Assault rifle (Chinese preferrably.) VATS the head whenever possible. But watch the ammo consumtion rate as they do still tend to take quite a few rounds to kill. Using the minigun was tempting, but with so few enemies and since they were oft moving the minigun wasn't very effective. Likewise explosive weapons weren't effective either as they typically dodged the brunt of the blasts. The combat shotgun probably would have been good to use, but I didn't have one. Avoid using the double barrel or any other shotgun at this point, as their low reload speed will have you eating ground before you know what's happening. (Especially if you come across the axe wielding tribals.)
Though towards the end, you will be on the top floor defending from both sides and 2 sets of steps leading up to you. The easiest way to get through this part is to lay any mines you have on the steps. If you have enough, lay some at the corners as well. Next pull out any grenades if you have them and just chuck them down the stairs at the oncoming enemies. Let the ghoul handle anything that approaches from the sides. (His combat shotgun makes swift work of them. But still keep an eye on the sides because they might come from both sides at once.) Then switch to your assault rifle or SMG and mop up the remnants. Liberal use of VATS for best result.
Good luck.

Thanks. I layed down a few mines here an there, but I didn't lay them down at key points. They often skipped around them, or didn't do much when they did get hit. I fended them off by switching between the Metal Blaster and the Tri-Beam laser rifle. (They say the Tri-beam is better, but the Metal Blaster came through for me more in the in for some reason) since I had 100 energy skill. Everytime they came up the stairs, concentrated fire consisting of any of my laser rifles and the ghoul's shotgun sent them packing(the dogs helped to lol) and then yea, I chucked grenades at them all day while they were below. I don't know what happened, but near the end, the turrets below started betraying us. But they weren't a threat.
I tried continuing on with the quest, but I got my arse handed to me by some hillbillies, so I just said **** it and save it for another day...-_-;

Damn those hill billies huh? Who knew they would be the toughest enemies ever. Are they like mutated or something? Oh well welcome to hillbilly hell. I know if I ever get the DLC of it I will bring with me the weapons for the job. So what refferences does Point Lookout has to the Civil War? I'd say more south than north or reversed I don't know.

The hillbilly enemies are tough, and in my experience, I found that they usually travel in packs of 3-5. As long as you take out the one(s) with the big hands first, then you can take down the one(s) with the shotgun. (Though take caution as they are highly accurate with the shotgun, even at a distance.) So if you know that you're coming up to a group of them, may as well take the pre-emptive strike and do as much damage as you can. Sniper rifle works quite well here. A head shot or 2 will likely horribly maim them making it easier to kill at a closer range. As well it disrupts the vision on the ones with the gun, making it harder for them to accurately shoot at you.
Personally, I found that the Flamer worked quite well against the big ones as they're too slow to catch you but they're not so slow that you can outrun them. Thusly you are a perfect distance for it to work. The others I just used whatever I had handy. (Though I recommend against using the double barrel shotgun against them as theirs tend to hit harder and are more accurate. Plus the slow reload speed means you'll end up spending time reloading and thusly absorbing more shots.)
The only enemy that gave me alot of trouble was the ghoul reaver things... They have a vast amount of health and are probably quicker than me. (They closed the gaps pretty quickly, even a few times hitting me as a backpedaled away from them.) Explosive weapons were rather useless against them as they merely dodged the shots. The flamer worked somewhat well, but because those enemies have such high health you'll likely run low on fuel before they're dead. Otherwise, any gun I used just needed a whole crate-load of ammo.
