I heard of this. It's more of an "eh" thing to me. If I were to get this game it the combat gameplay switched between the two styles, I'd be saying awesome for the EXE part, then drone along with the starforce style. I would just hope I'm EXE more than Ryuusei.(thats his name, right?) I really dislike the way he looks. The hair kills him.

Too iffy for my taste simply because I enjoyed Lan and Megaman exe more than Emo Megaman Geo anyday. So I hope they let you switch styles of combat. I know Megaman exe did have a cameo in the first two starforce games netting you a strong buster. Also with the cameo of a few characters from the games with Django the Solor boy of the future came along for a little story event or two that had nothing to do with game and gave you nada I think. No offence to any starforce fans of course. I just wasn't a big fan of his downer personality which I know was the effect of his father dissappearing. The only thing I liked about starforce was the fact you actually had a sheild that wasn't part of any particuler style and that Gemini was an interesting boss fight.

I'm with Stryker on calling 'eh' here. And I don't me "Eh!?" like the Fonz, I mean 'ehh', as in boring.
EXE was an interesting experiment that I pointedly refuse to call Megaman, but Star Force was just bad cash-cow milking, like Beast Machines. I'm just glad they went with a new cast and disguised the concept, rather then screw over the characters and themes we'd grown to love.
But then they announce a cross over. *Face palm*
Until I see this announced for myself on Capcom's website or MMHP, I'm writing it off as a mis-informed rumor and forgetting about it. If I do, then I'm crying foul that we don't get a better Mega-crossover.
Seriously, how long have the fans been expressing interest in some sort of merge between the X and Original series'? There have been countless theories of X being a rebuilt Megaman (Which have been denied by Word of God[Inafune], not that that's stopped them), Zero being a rebuilt Protoman/Bass/both (Denied in canon if you count the arcade games) and of Zero killing off the Original series cast (Also denied by Word of God).
It's clear that Capcom has an audience for an X/Classic crossover, so why not do that instead of (Or in addition to) merging the two What If? spin-offs to see what happened?

I dunno about this one... I mean I'm not a fan of Starforce at all, and I played the .EXE but it wasn't my favourite. So I can't really see a combination of them as anything truely spectacular. (Atleast for me anyway.)
I would think that there are atleast 2-3 other combinations which might make for a better crossover. The as previously mentioned Classic to X. But this should be more about a transition than a true crossover. I'd like them to flesh things out and explain how it went from Wily taking over the world to the beginning of the X series.
Then of course there is the other great crossover/transition... X to Zero... The elf wars. I'd think this would make quite the game if done properly. You could have this as Command Mission 2, or even in the vein of previous X games. Either style could be used to tell the tale. (But if they used the normal X style game play, I'd expect there to be more bosses... atleast 24 to 32 or more considering the elfwars happens over a 4 year span. Even if they go RPG style with it, I'd hope they include more side missions, bigger levels, multiple paths and more exploration.)
And possibly, but this is a stretch... ZX and Legends. Maybe bridge the gap between these 2 series (if there actually is a connection... Which there seems to be because of the in game references to past games... Such as the X-buster item being used to build the shining laser.) Or if you refuse the idea of the connection, it still might be interesting to see a connection made between these 2 series.
Though I'd rather avoid strange crossovers like between the EXE and Zero series. (Why do I call this strange? because to me there doesn't seem to be any real reason to make a connection between them.)

All exe had refrenses to anything was the cameos and specific characters from the other 3 series of Megaman and that was enough for me honestly. Yes transitions have been the biggest downfalls with the megaman timelines leaving to many plot holes in their wake.

I forsee Ryuusei-style battle network 1. or them using the card set-up Ryuusei had. (assuming that the card thing from red joker was in the others)

A remake of BN1 why not the remakes of Megaman Maverick Hunter X2 or Megaman 2 powered up? I know BN was very popular for its time ,but come on? Why not give him a break and help us old fans move on to what we have been missing for a long time now. Something to fill the void of The X series for a change. Well I can hope and dream ,but it will not change anything. Anyways that is finally out of my system... Well I did enjoy the BN series a lot it was good till they went too far with starforce... My memories with BN1 were okay it just didn't feel right seeing as I started with BN2 and happened to be used to the idea of wild card chips, styles, and things being a bit less reliant on Luck and going back to BN1 proved to challenging for me... Chip flow seemed difficult to produce and the add on feature was a bit tough for me even if it made things a bit easier in battle...Well I hope this remake doesn't dissapoint and at the same time I hope it helps things out by keeping the Blue Bomber alive in some form I guess... I didn't mean for a rant ,but it turned out that way...Sheesh...

Transmission was quite good and I thought it was very unique seeing it has used the original format of traditions of a megaman game. Too bad it didn't catch on though. Though I wonder what it would have been like applied with the regular BN format because technically it was between BN1 and BN2.

So its a remake of BN1 ,but with an alternative storyline because the SF cast is there due to a navi who didn't exist intill after the BN timeline went on to the straforce timeline in the future. So I take it will be fighting a handful of many unique or similer enemies from both times.
