WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP?!
Carrot. Soup. Carrot and soup. Carrot in the form of soup. Seriously. Why?
I was just blessed with the delight of having to eat a plateful of this pointless crap. Abysmal torture of the taste detecting nerves. It was like eating a couple of carrots, but worse. Because there was no chewing involved. You don't get a crunch sound. You don't get a good taste in your mouth. You don't get your mouth cooled by the coldness of the carrot. No. All of that has been turned upside down. It's warm and it's liquid. A warm, watery pile of liquid carrots.
WHY?!
The entire concept just goes over my head! Why does the carrot have to be turned into liquid?! Why is it warm?! Nature intended the sodding thing to be hard and cold and covered in mud! We might wipe the mud off for the sake of health, but why do we have to warm the carrot and melt it? Someone tell me, why?! I have teeth for goodness's sake! Unless I'm in a hospital after someone beat the said dentals out of me, I have no intention whatsoever to devour something that is meant to be solid as liquid instead! The point of this garbage just escapes me completely! Just what's the difference here?! It can't be healthier! It doesn't taste better! Some idiot just insisted to turn a perfectly fine carrot into some disgusting plateful of tasteless orange water! Sickening, tasteless, orange water!
We need to do something. A new movement. We'll be the PPSV. People for the Protection of Solid Vegetables. Something has to be done before they turn tomatoes into soup as well.
Hear it and know it. We must act while the soup is still warm.

I would heartfully support this movement. It is unfortunate that we do not know the identity of the one who originated the vile concoction. I'm afraid the best I can do for you right now is hop into my time machine and kill your chef before he makes the soup. At least that way you'll get a decent meal.

Why stop at Tomatoes? surely they'll try to turn everything into soup, especially if prevented from turning tomatoes. We must be vigilant for the others as well. Mushrooms, Broccoli (Though why we want to save this one... I dunno.), Peas. And they may even move on turning meat into soups as well. The horror!

Tch... it was only a matter of time... maybe they could come up with something that would support the vegetables/meats in their now soupy state. Maybe some buoyant edible device made of fried bread squares that the ingredients could hold and absorb into for comfort to forget their mistreatment...

Maybe some buoyant edible device made of fried bread squares that the ingredients could hold and absorb into for comfort to forget their mistreatment... Bread and carrot together?! My sense of taste has been tortured plenty enough for a couple of lifetimes without the intrusion of such ghoulish contraptions! And no one has provided me with a reasonable answer regarding the issue here. Why is the carrot turned into soup? The vitamins are gone when it's turned into such. It tastes disgusting as soup. No one likes warm vegetables. Especially as soup. The whole thing makes no sense whatsoever. I can't believe that madness of this level can go unnoticed for so long. Is it true that I'm the very last bastion of sense in this day and age? The world will easily succumb into more nonsensical forms of edible goods once I've passed on. You should all be concerned. VERY concerned.

Actually, I can easily understand why someone would want to make soup out of carrots. Although using just plain carrots seems silly, even to me. I'd prefer if it was served with some other root vegetables like rutabaga or sweet potatoes. When spiced and otherwise prepared properly, it is actually a very good soup, although it's closer to a mash than a liquid soup as the ingredients are by no means "melted".
It is also incredibly healthy, and I see no reason why meat or fish couldn't be added into the mix, although it would be wise to cook it separately, especially if you're using pork, bird or a type of meat that requires time to be fully cooked. A soup made out of root vegetables is also incredibly easy and cheap to make, and takes little attention once you've got it cookin'.

Cream of carrot and corriander is also a nice suggestion. Very nice for the winter evenings too. I think Heinz does a lovely one, the can came in very useful for my year five art project too.

You know, Tomato is already made into a soup... It's not actually bad though since it's a very juicy vegetable, but... Carrots?
This is madness
