it's been a loong time since i was gone. to make up for my hiatus, i made a test flash. and because i liked flamezero's last cataclysm, i thought making a flash using his style would look pretty cool. megaswf.com/view/0b41b5533d087399ae99e5dbca09768b.htmli'm still practicing btw. the green in the background is like a greenscreen used in movies.

A decent start... But that's all it really is. The brief animation is pretty fluid though. Only thing I noted as the last of the pantheons movement seemd a odd, it came on the screen at one pace then suddenly accelerated. The sudden acceleration seemed a bit unnatural. Other than that, not bad. Though I would like to see more and/or possibly an action scene. (Because those tend to be the true test of one's capabilities.)
Though for my own curiosity... What's your frame rate? 20 or 24? (or even higher than that?)

thanks for the reply. i'm about to work on the battle since the beginning was just the build up. as for the frame rate, i used 45 frames per second.
yeah, i'm a frames nut ;D
one epic battle sequence coming up!

The pantheon's sprite when aiming his gun has a large white spot in between his legs, you forgot to erase it.
There's also a reason why people don't use frame-rates that high, but maybe you can pull a nice action scene with it.

I recommend trying to put some sound in it. And also, try not to make it seem like an all-out ripoff of The Last Cataclysm.
